First off welcome to Fichtenfoo forums buddy. Your Hazel Custom is really cool. I love the mod you made. The front skirt armor, the screw on the chest, the styrene sheets in the legs thrusters and pistons are sweet mods and I love them all. Good job.I am curious on how you made the 2 parts of the front skirt armor go up and down separately. I've seen this mod many times but I never came up with a way to do it. How did you add the hydraulic pistons on the ankles too. That would be great for my next kit.
Nice progress. That's a pretty neat idea for the hydraulics. Welcome to FFF.
Nice overall mods on the Hazel. It's pretty cool to see all the different things people can do to the same kit. Without the backpack, the neck looks too long, but when you put it all together, it looks really good. One thing I'm really regretting about doing 4 models is that I'm not doing as many little details like yours because I'm kind of going for quantity and sacrificing quality... Nice work!
So when will we see the completed kit? For the neck did you follow the same process for the Hydraulic pistons in the ankle?
I didn't have a chance to look at your pictures until today. I had been peeking in on things at work, but your pictures were caught by the filters IT put in place so I couldn't look at your Hazel.I'll agree with Blackito. I'm jealous, your Hazel is BEAUTIFUL! It's got a ton of really nice small detail that ranges from mods to option parts to paint to decals. A really fine piece of work. Having studied a ton of Hazel pictures in determining my color schemes for my four Hazels, I have to say I really like your choices. Other Hazels with the same amount of white trim usually have the three-tone gray/yellow/blue color scheme and it's too busy (On my Hazels I went three-tone, but cut back on the white and simplified the three-tone). Your choice of all the white highlights with the Mk. II style black and blue color scheme is a stroke of genius. Plus without all the stripes you've got great places to put more decals! The red highlights look great as well.My only nitpick is that in many of the standing pose pictures the legs look too close together and the feet point too straight forward, making it look kinda stiff. That's an easy fix, and I still saved about 8 of your pictures to my favorite mecha models folder.I'm gonna go work on my Hazles now!!!
