Oh, here's another idea, trim the tabs of the V-fin on the head, and possibly sharpen them. I just saw that they were still there on the silver and gold Hazel.

Update !! Woo
I decided to continue working on the arm mods.
RX-121-1 [Hazel custom]
Here I took a piece of an old tree I had lying around, cut a small piece and put it in the arm mod I made.
RX-121-1 [Hazel custom]
When I cut this part to put the PC-I piece on top, I kept the rest and removed the disc with an exacto knife
RX-121-1 [Hazel custom]
and kept it in the shoulder joint. That way I won't lose it and it will enable me to put just a little drop of crazy glue to stick it with the arm mod shown in the first picture.

Ya I did that already. A buddy suggested me to do it since he said the tabs were fugly. Thanks for the idea though

Yet Another Update !
I've decided to continue the modding I was doing my Hazel's arm. Today's main feature is the infamous Funaka method that will allow me to put the arm joints in and out of the forearms without disassembling them and thus ensuring an easier paint job without masking.
(Sorry about that am all hyped and fired up for some reason
)
RX-121-1 [Hazel custom]
Here I sanded the cubic top of the piece with a nail file to make it easier to enter a set of forearms stuck together. That hole is a tiny bit too small.
RX-121-1 [Hazel custom]
With my pincers I removed the big chunks and the remains with my scalpel blade to allow the joints to easily slide in.
RX-121-1 [Hazel custom]
And voila, the final result. (Doesn't look like anything special though)

Today am finishing the mods on the arms.
RX-121-1 [Hazel custom]
Here I stuck the piece of the tree I cut earlier with the round piece from the original arm joint with crazy glue. I drilled a hole on top of the white piece to allow a bit of glue to go inside. If too much is applied it can stuck the joint and shoulder together and that would be real bad.
RX-121-1 [Hazel custom]
Basically I put a longer tree piece in the joint and I sanded it off until the perfect length was acquired.
RX-121-1 [Hazel custom]
Voila. Now to do it on the other arm and I'll have to look for something else to mod maybe.

I like the shoulder mod! Much easier and most likely more sturdy than mine. Just be sure to mask off that hole in the shoulder before you paint or the paint may dry and glue the disc in place inside the shoulder.

This is a small mod I did on the rifle yesterday night.
RX-121-1 [Hazel custom]
I'll fill the hole with putty tonight.

Nice arm upper arm mod, who did you get that from?
Im not such a fan of the rifle so far but it might make it look nice and compact :)
Have you thought about a colour scheme?

Thanks. The upper arm mod is an original creation that I came up with
.... not.
I tried to make the rifle more compact since he will be holding two at the same time. I do not want them to be too big or bulky. As for the color scheme I will go again with gold and silver but I think I'll change a few things. With university now I am too lazy to make color schemes on photoshop.

Update
RX-121-1 [Hazel custom]
I've filled holes with apoxy putty and let it dry before i sanded it off with a 3M 150 fine grit sponge.
RX-121-1 [Hazel custom]
I think that will be it for the mods. University + 1/144 kit [or greater] = ERROR !!!
I'll focus on SDs after. I want to finish this kit asap. Without rushing it too much of course.

Update !!
Been a while so I decided to post a little something
RX-121-1 [Hazel custom]
RX-121-1 [Hazel custom]
I am currently painting everything in black to serve as a layer for the metallic colors that are to come. Then it hit me: since the thrusters parts are going to be colored with a metallic color I thought I could use masking tape to put inside. So after the color will be sprayed the little square will remain black to add realism.

Pheww !! Finally it's done. It did not meet my expectations due to me not fully taking advantage of the extension Ficht gave us
but I also think that it's not THAT bad. I know I said this before but I am not making another model under time pressure ever again. From now on am taking my sweet time. (I really mean it this time) Anyways enough random talk, enjoy the pictures

Ya the neck mod is awesome. I'll use them on all hazels I have right now. For the manipulator i got them from the 1/144 Strike Noir kit. I ordered a couple from HobbylinkJapan but they sent me the wrong ones. I returned them back and the other ones I needed were back ordered. So I bought an entire kit instead...
Meh I'll use the spare parts for my future SDs.
