Best place to get Kotobukiya Option Parts?
« on: March 20, 2008, 04:12:25 PM »
I read the old topic "Greebles Rule", but it didn't answer my question, which is:

If I live in the US, is there a better way to get my beloved Koyobukiya option parts (and Wave, for that matter), other than to order them from HLJ and wait two months (because all the parts I want are on backorder and/or they're never all in stock at the same time), only to get some of the parts I ordered shipped (and then wait another month for them to get here)?

I ordered some parts after Christmas, and they just got them all together last week (well, almost all of them), but then there's some problem. They haven't been specific yet, but their automated system said my parts were broken, or that there was an inventory foul up... I've contacted them, we'll see what they say.

Where/how do you guys get your Koto parts?

Thanks!  :D

I have been wondering the same thing. The only place I have found so far is Starship modeler. The link is the shop, arranged by manufacturer. Take a look, they have a big line up of Kotobukiya and other such brands. But I would still like to know where the best place is.

At first I was like, "Wow! Satrship modeler has this stuff, life just got easier!"
Unfortunately, it seems they're about 99% out of stock... :stupid: DOH!

Any Starship Modeler regulars know if that's their ususal status?

Just to update the situation, HLJ did get the missing parts in and shipped my order to me.  :-)
