1/144 HGUC Gogg

One of my longest projects to date. It took 3 1/2 months for me to mod, adding details and such. Only took 2 days to paint, which was surprisingly pleasant.

Comments welcomed, except of course please respect that I paint in a certain style.  Happy Smirk

I like your work , But maybe you can take more pictures , To show us all the mod's and details ..
Use the "Micro" botton on your camera and turn off the flash . I am sure we will be able to see much more if you do that ..
I like the painting , You can feel the shadowing .. But the yellow you used is quite drastic , Is it yellow or apple green in the first place ? .. Anyway the yellow/greenish color somewhat created a sharp contrast .  Happy Smirk

Of course colors is more of a personal taste , So never mind me  Tongue
BTW: Are you thinking about doing some weathering ?

Best of Luck ~
Thanks

Thanks for your comments. It is actually a sort of tan colour originally. Sorry I didn't take more pictures, but batteries are so expensive!

You know I think if I had to change it I would change the brown to match the yellow better, not the other way around. I love the old crazy colours of Gundam (although I know what you mean about the green).

There will be no weathering for this beast. I love him like he is, besides it's not my style. No decals either. Wink.

Nicely done. The shading came out very nice, and the addition of the rivets is different--in a positive way. I like the almost "stock" look of this Gogg. What did you use for the mono-eye?

Thanks! The mono eye is an LED. I wanted to have it lit but couldn't fit the batteries as planned so I ended up painting it.
