Skewer Holders

Check out what I just found on 2chan. This guy is using a cat scratching device as a skewer holder. Looks to me like this might work better than my foam so I might have to try it. Better in that it will last longer and hold skewers upright. Might need to glue it to some wood for base weight though, but I do that for my foam trays anyway.

Interesting... I'd been using floral foam, but that idea has merit. Honestly, that picture reminds me a lot of the air filter on my old truck. Hmmm...

Wow... floral foam is way too dusty for me... at least the green stuff is. The scratcher has merit though... I've had them for my cats before and they'd be great.

I bought a block of the green AND white floral foams today and both are dusty as hell    Set them on my t able and removed them and now my table is green and clear/silver

I've always used a chunk of 2.10 i got at home depot for free in the 'scrap' pile, drill some holes in it and voila, a nice sturdy skewer holder.
