Hrm I know this is a long shot.  But I bought two of the Akuyaku no.1 when it was first released (pre-ordered, that's how excited I was).  And then a little while later they released the same tank but with additional crew figures.  So you might ask what's the big deal?  Well, I'm incredibly fond of those little piggie fellows designed by Miyazaki, and would like to get a hold of them without busting another 6,400yen without shipping (and for the third tank).  So I'm asking if anyone knows of a place where I can order them (maybe a member in Japan can help me out with the lost part ordering?), or a place that have them recasted and I can buy them.  I know it's a long shot, but do want a crew to man my mighty Akuyaku no.1!!  Evil

Get the other one and sell one of yours maybe? How much is the non-piggy one worth?

That's the only image on 1999 that shows them on the runners...

It's a pretty pricey kit, 5800 yen without the crew, 6400 yen with crew.  I'm going to ask rainbowten to see if they can help.  I don't know the runner number at the moment, will try to find out more.  Thanks guys.  Wink

Here is the official page, someone's WIP of the non-crew version.  And one incredible dioramaLOL

Don't know how many of us have this kit (both versions).  If there's sufficient interest maybe we can have a batch casted (provided someone is willing to send the original to the caster).  But yeah, this is a remote option, just want to bring it up that's all.  LOL

For now, enjoy the awesome dio linked above.  LOL

Was there a actual manga published? Was the Artwork and Story just a Model Graphix exclusive?

I have Artwork compilation book at home, but can't read Japanese.

I had a look at the diorama,  very cool  Cool Big Grin

I believe it was only shown as a chapter in the Miyazaki Daydream Notes.  I can't find other references for it.
