Making A replacement part

Unfortunately my Mg SF took the plunge off my desk and the thing that slots into the hole where the legs go has broken.... I want to make a replacement and I want to know what materials/tools I will Need

Is that the piece that connects the hip joint to the torso?  Personally I'd just fill in the hollow parts, pin the peg twice with wire, and then use one of the "super" plastic glues like Proweld to repair it.

Well I don't know whats going on in that picture, it looks like some kind of elbow joint to me. ANYWAYS, you could try resin casting the other part if they are symmetrical. I don't know much about resin casting, given the one time I tried I rushed into it and ruined a perfectly good GM Quel head... and maybe a GM Kai head, I can barely remember.
