Here's a fantastic site full of great inspiration for this GB: http://www.danielsimon.net/

Apparently he's got a book coming out in December 2007. Should be cool.

Purely for inspiration, and I hope it helps:

Nico posted this great link in my monoracer thread. I'm reposting it here since it's great reference.

I like the idea but I think you could place half lenticular wheel like on Sbarro's Bikes
http://www.burningart.com/meico/moto/sbarro/

Actually you can't ride something like this try a bike one day  Happy Smirk

I know that WipeoutZone has already been listed, but if you're considering working on an anti-gravity racer, I highly recommend going to their downloads page and snagging the file under "PSP Wallpaper" entitled Wipeout Pure Gallery Images. It's 29 MB, but it's also over 300 images of every kind of reference you could ask for... There's cockpit, engine, hangar, body, track--everything you'd need to build your racer. It's also worth noting that they have some rather crude "blueprint" GIFs at the bottom of the page, as well.

Now I've got the references I need to start a 1:72 WipEout-esque ag racer!  ARRRRRRRRRR!

I already have a 1/24 scale version in the works. We should draw up some rules and build around them so the vehicles would be somewhat similar. Our very own AG League!

I have the Daniel Simon book on preorder through Amazon. It was supposed to come in this week, but has been delayed till Feb. Damn. Was waiting on it to gain inspiration for my Monocycle.

You gotta make sure to scan some of your inspiration. Daniel Simon's motorcycle designs inspired the shape of the chopper... http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/3744/bike2ew6.th.jpg
GB4 References

His designs are very inspired, high concept work. Simple and beautiful
