Ok, i usually prime all my stuff but it costs me a fortune for the primers. I use 3 L cans of tamyia primer which i get for $15.95 Australia dollars. I can pull it off with 2 L cans if i dont try to cover every area. 3 of these cans is more expensive than the kit itself! Im starting to think if i should just forget priming some parts such as interal/skeleton parts, infact, if there was any point priming it at all?

I went and did some testing, i sprayed some parts without primer and i find that the paint sticks on pretty well and its actually thinner. If i was hand painting, id use an undercoat/primer for sure but if im airbrushing, does it really make a big difference?
