Well I am currently doing ship paints on the kit. I first do light green ships then I 'll paint with grey (german grey) to simulate the metal then I could add some red brown here and there to simulate rust.
The yellow stripes are just there to decorate the part.

It will be clearer when I post some progress pics.

I think you mean "chipped" paint right? That might be where he's confused. Looks great though!

Ah I kinda had it sussed then, but the ships did really confuse me  Happy Smirk I imagine the light green is for where the paint has been worn down, the metal area in the middle would be where it has worn the most? Pleace correct me on this if I'm wrong.  Unsure

llok'n really weird with the lime green chips... weird in a good way. However do you intend to leave the paint chips in such a bright color? Or will mover washes/fades/filters be applied?

Well I try fading but unfortunatly I tried it with white spirit and it doesn't work. White spirit is not enough greasy.
Considering filters I don't really now how it works even with Mig axplanations I cant figure what result , effect I could get.
I will do pre dusting dusting rain marks and stains.
I will be very busy until the end of september so I don't fink I will have time to work on it. Stay tuned

Nico that looks great.  I really like the orange on the olive drab, reminds me of Melusine for some reason.

Are these green patches paint chip or camo pattern?

Hello I worked on Briegel body and pelvis yesterday. I was frozen in my basment it was about 7°C.
Special thanks to MZ3 for his exellant trusting technics.
Now Iam thinking about the shouler decoration. I will put the decal from Z-Luca's sheet but I don't want to let them totally green.

It's coming together nicely, I can't wait to see your weathering on the armor. While I was admiring your work on the internals    I noticed something very familiar about Luca's model...

Yes, It is! I'm absolutely a non-warhammer fan, even if it's one of the best parts of the sentinel, I've decided to put it under all. Blah! Evil
That plastic seems quite strange. Something like a rubber sandable, very strange...

What are you making there C_T  Shifty?

nico: might I suggest a space heater. My workshop is an outdoor building so I can sympathize with frozen fingers...

ZLuca: that is my "chopper" for the Scifi Grand Prix group build located elsewhere on the forum

Thank you all Smiley I will do a break during Christmas holidays but I will be back to work at the very begining of 2008.

The white face works very well. I didn't plane anything on this kit (like the other did) That may be the reason why I'am not fast.

The seat it Horrible but I will fix that later. The modelling is great it's my paiting Sick

Don't worry Nico, I've find difficult to paint me too Wacko, because at initial color state it seems quite rough.. ,to take inspiration I suggest to watch some :
