I want it to be V gundam or Destiny but i highly doubt it. I'm gonna go with the original RX-78 Gundam. It will either Ver.2'd or maybe that new Evolve styled one. But it if I had to pick one, I'd go with Ver.2. A Guntank does sound nice though...

Yeah, the Operation V set in Master Grade is very nice!  Big Grin

I hope that flood of crappy recolors or very slightly modified kits (especially MGs) is a way for Bandai to cover the development costs of an exceptional 100th but I'm not holding my breath...
Anyways, what I'd like is probably miles away from what the Japanese market wants...
What I'd like? A Xeku Eins, but I just have no realistic guess and don't care that much, since I mainly do HGUC (a Sazabi, quick! ARRRRRRRRRR!).

Nu Gundam Evolve version!

I think that would really surprise a lot of people. Plus the Nu is one of the most popular and important designs :]

You hope, but a version 2.0 of the RX-78 makes the most sense - even though everyone is fed-up with all the different versions of the -78 that have been released over the years...

I wonder if that is the Ver 2.0 Anime color that was talked about earlier.

Wait... so the OYO version... that's the Version 2.0 correct? So MG #100 would be a recolor of that? Makes little sense.

Make perfect sense. For no effort, Bandai makes more money.

This month's hobby mag news UPDATED

MG Gundam One Year War 0079 ver. - TV color version, July, 3,150 yen (this is NOT MG 100, btw)
HCM-Pro Zaku IIJC - June, 2,100 yen
HCM-Pro Akatsuki - full set, July, 5,460 yen
HCM-Pro Evangelion Unit 01

I think the website was confusing this model for the 100th MG

Beat Down I have to backup Major Blah on his comments, No RX-78

Bandai needs to think outside of the box! If number 100 is the RX-78, I am going to be so sad.  Wacko Sad

My one guess would be: Sazabi ver 2.0... because it follows the Char theme following Zaku and Gelgoog.  Of course, by this logic we should expect Rick Dom 2.0, Zeong 2.0, and Hyaku Shiki 2.0.

What would really suck: Casval Gundam 2.0, a recolor version of Gundam OYW ver.  Sad

What would really me all hot and bothered: The Nightingale

The caseval version is only a video game version "not official".
The 100th won't be a RX-78. I'am sure that all the fans and all the modellers are wondering something new.
I like the idea of a Guntank or a Sazabi. The line up desurve a Guntank and the Saz an upgrade.

One Guess.

PSYCHO GUNDAM!!!

No seriously. The largest gundam ever (and probably the worst to even try to build) as an MG. NO one would guess it, and only TRUE fanatics of gundam would get it. Cause its just. That. Big.

Nah, no chance of that.

Overly big gunpla kits have are expensive to develop, and has proven to be lackluster in sales, e.g. Perfect Zeong, HGUC Dendrobium. Not to mention that the Psycho Gundam isn't that popular a mecha to begin with. With so much hype and promotion going for the MG100, Bandai wouldn't risk a commercial flop (else there'll be a lot to answer for in their next board meeting  LOL).

Also, the Psycho Gundam will be coming out as a GFF: http://uwants.com/viewthread.php?tid=3843532 . It is unlikely a model of mediocre popularity and importance will be released on 2 product lines within such a short span of time. It'll just eat into each other's sales.
