Haha no I have pretty regular hands :D
Each phalange is 7mmX4mm.
Here's a size comparison pic (the hand comes from the MG WZC):

I'm back on this project but now know what it's gonna be for, hence the renaming.
Well the name says it pretty much, I'll make a Gaplant with the Hrairoo addons, Gundam psycho's arms (scratchbuilt), some elements of the Fiver, and some detailling.
So far I've been building one arm:

This is only the rough shape, I'm building only one arm first to see if I like the proportions, then I'll copy it for the second one, and detail both.
This should be another long project.

Hey Ez!

What thickness pla-plate did you use to build up the arm?

2mm. I usually prefer to work with 1mm but here I'll have to flatten the sides so it'll be easier with something thicker.

I like the proportions so will proceed on building the second arm.
Here's a quick mockup on the Hrairoo:

Thoughts?

Looks good!  Are the giant arms further to the back according to sketch?

Oh, I usually tell people to turn of that "date-stamping function" on their digital camera.  The date info is on file anyways and you don't cover those precious pixels.

Yes, they will be connected to the same spot where the actual psycho arms can be attached.
As for the date, I noticed it after posting the pic. I usually never use it but had to make some pictures before sending my laptop to the customer service and thought the embedded date would be a good proof in case they screwed it up... Won't be in the next pics!

EZ,

I have to give you props for being able to cut all those little pieces consistently and your overall scratchbuilding ability with styrene. I'd give up after the 4th piece. That's my limit for repetition.
I wonder about the guy that can sit through a David Lynch movie and say, "I saw that coming."

Thanks!
I actually tried to replace the stock hands by scratchbuilt ones but my first try doesn't look great. I took a picture with some of the other mods I did on the arms so far (not much):

Someone over at TTT Arc linked to this Owsla with gigantic arms, thought it might be useful reference for you.

WIP

Seems like the arms of HGUC Pyscho was used though, nowhere as scratchy as yours.

Thanks MB, that's a very nice kit! Really like what he did for the green lasers between the knuckles and fingers.
I wish I had some of those parts...

Are you referring to the green parts shown in this picture?

I think those are Wave eyes.

Looks like this set.

Pretty cheap.  Chalk that up to put in the next order.  ;)

Oooh, when I talked about parts, I meant DH parts (OWSLA  and stuff) not those green eyes
