Tamiya Polycarbonate Spray

I have been looking to use some of the new Tamiya Iridescent spray on a project I am starting - however the Tamiya sprays in this colour are for polycarbonate car models.  Can you use on plastic models or will the chemical composition cause the plastic to melt?

I don't think it's safe for the plastic.
