Saw this at Dalong just now.

Initially I thought there must be 3 gundams in that box, but upon closer inspection, 3 sets of sprues were required to get the color from the plastic "right".  What a dumb way to do things, no wonder it's "special" edition...

A bottle of paint, anyone?

Yeah... That's pretty bad. I know collectors eat that up, but still... seems like a waste.

So... If I'm looking at this right (doubtful), you could really take this and build three complete hodge-podge RX-78-2's out of it. Bandai certainly is a snapper's dream.

I think there's only 1 frame though, but 3 sets of outer armors...

I can already see the Dalong guy matching different colors to experiment, he's a fun guy.

hello guys!
i got one of these limited kit as my 3rd prize last BAKUC 2006. yep, exactly the same even the outer box. maybe having one internal frame and picking your choice armor is the highlight..but of course choice of armor of different plastic color would also be change because we are still want to have that painted feeling, ryt?i think those extra parts would be just bonus...hehhee..maybe for future project or put those extra armors in other oyw rx..i dunno, ur choice.

just my 2 cents.

peace.

No... I'm sure they have dozens of variants left to work with. And if they ever burn out, they can always release a new video game with a slightly different RX-78-2 to start the whole mess all over again.

I'm not, but then, I don't buy every kit that's released just to have it either.. i've only built one and a half 78's myself.. Gotta build my FA version soon.
