I think these acronyms makes no sense anyways, but maybe you need it for decal design?  I do like the bulkiness of your setup already, I HOPE that it's going to be big and mean, not one of the "pretty boys" we've been seeing since wing/seed...

I'm definitely going with the following. This definitely has more to do with decals more than anything else. Thanks for the suggestions everyone, but the winner is:

Thanks Fulcy. Fulcy knows what I'm doing with this project so his makes the most sense actually. This HOPE acronym has to do with the backpack binders and the way they'll split open. Here's my references/inspiration for the backpack. Mine will obviously be different and a combination of the two, but I love these 2 designs.

That's why I'm extending the chest... it'll balance out the long backpack binders. When the backpack splits, I want it to be nice and detailed inside like the following:

Major: I hope this will look bad-ass when done and not Seedy. I want this to have a high-proformance, yet mass-produced look. I'm thinking that the backstory of this is that it's a MS design that never made it off of paper. Great, but too expensive to produce. Maybe it was even a "paper tiger" of sorts. Who knows.

lol.  These acronyms remind me of the ones for ZAKU, GOUF, DOM, GUNDAM, etc. in SEED.

Are you going to create a back story for this suit?  Is it going to be a "Gundam" type or a uber MS like the Sazabi?

I like what you got there FF, and it's good to hear that it won't be another lanky teenage MS.  

I was going to suggest some acronym for HOPE with "Hephaestus" in it, but now that it's finalized and I can't come up with anything good I'll just drop it.  Since it's called Pandora I would suggest the only weapon carried by this MS to be a box full of little Gremlins.

I hate to sound like some pretentious 'tard, but i was just kind of ping ponging this phrase around and realized why it seemed a tad awkward to me. I've been so used to 'properly' naming molecules in my Chem classes, that id recommend using either:

Hydrogen Oxide Polymorphic Engine
or
HydrOxide Polymorphic Engine

Only thing is, whether or not this changes the 'story' behind the name and the MS. Hydrogen Oxide is commonly known as water, and the Hydroxide Ion is the tail end molecule of every Alcohol. So im not sure whether the slight name change would completely change ur idea, but i just thought id throw this stuff out there incase u could use it.

I know that it sounds very geeky, but it does have a nice ring to it.

I added some more in-prog shots of the chest armor that I've finally gotten the rough shape of completed. It breaks up into several parts to be removable from the frame for painting.

The back of the chest looks really clean. Do you know where you're adding vents to the front yet (just curious)? Also, you've given new meaning to the term "crotch rocket".

Here's the latest shots. THe whitish glops on the sides of the legs is that "shapelock" plastic that softens in hot water. That stuff is PERFECT for brackets to connect armor.

You will have to  use tons of plastic card to cover a kit that size...
Are you planning on modifying the feet? They might be a little curvy (well I'm only guessing the final kit will be more boxy than the WZC, I might be wrong).
I just reread the wip and noticed that you mentioned a potential FA mode...hope you'll find enough motivation to go for it once you almost complete the kit, gotta love FA!  
That shapelock sounds pretty handy, might try it once I'm back in the US.

Looking good.  And I agree with Ezechiel that the feet should be modded (I'm sure you have plans already).  Looks pretty bulky and I love bulky suits (with FA too?  wow).  

Let's hope Bandai do not pull another shinobi/stargazer on you.  Actually, it wouldn't be so bad 'cause at least the design would be decent.

I'm not sure I understand your question. If you're asking if there will be rounded parts of this piece then no. I'm going to do everything very angular and beveled. Curves are a pain in the ass and the reason I put projects on hold.
