So here's what I've been working on for the past few days... my custom MS design based on the PG WZC frame. I'm calling this unit the Pandora. I still need to decide on an era or if I even care to fit it in one. (no suggestions please... it gets annoying) Probably post F91 so I can justify a beam shield and short stature.

I am looking to find a good acronym for H.O.P.E. System though to do the whole Pandora's Box thing. Any thoughts there?

As for the design, I'm taking elements from a lot of my favorite MS designs and fan-art (especially WindFall and Studio Reckless) for this. Also some queues from the Evolve Hi-Nu (hence the extended ass and crotch) even though I'm generally not a Hi-Nu fan at all.

Anyway, I have no sketches as the design is in my head. I'm also playing it by ear. Here's what I've got so far. The main gimmick feature I designed on it so far is the top of the mid-chest which slides forward to open the cockpit. I know the WZC does that, but I had to make my own mechanisms. I'm also integrating magnets under the armor for potential  full armor (Full Pithos (storage jar)) mode.

More armor/plastic added...

What about High Output Purpose Equipped?

In the meantime, I like the way this is coming togethor so far. I've been looking forward to someone taking advantage of the MG F-91's revolutionary new frame in order for them to build something that was...well, revolutionary, lol. You have my blessings, man.

Didn't Foo say this is based on the PG Wing Zero Custom frame, though? :)

You are correct, sir! It is the PG WZC frame, as indicated in the PG Conversion CHALLENGE! thread.

Damn. Sorry, I just got back from the dentist. I'm kinda numb right now. Feel free to replace the "n" in "numb" with a "d", though. I feel real stupid for making that mistake. I just read that it was supposed to be post f-91 and thought it was an F-91. Sorry again.

What scale wiould this roughly translate to if you go with F-91 era? Probably too soon to figure out something like that though.

Heh, I almost thought of the same thing, only I was thinking High Output Performance Enhancing System. I like yours too.

This would still be 1/60 in the F91 era obviously since it's shorter. My workings so far on hope are:

Heavy OPerations Engagement System?
Heavy O---- Pilot Enclosure
H---- Over-Protective Enclosure
Hazardous Operations Pilot Enclosure System << I like that one, but am open to something better.

I'm finding it's just been plain easier to scratchbuild all the parts so far rather than modify existing ones. The crotch I had built first then discovered it slid perfectly over the original one. So I glued it on and that saves me from having to make an attachment point for it.

The chest is extended so that it will visually balalnce out the large booster binders that will be on the back.

Ah, of course. I always seem to forget that the AU Gundams are shorter than the early to mid UC Gundams.

That last one is good. For "Heavy O--- Pilot Enclosure", maybe Overlay? Maybe it'll be easier once more of the armor is in place. It could end up being some sort of weapon or something depending on the build.

Acronym?
H O P E...
Heavy Ordinance Pacification Experiment
High Output Physical Engager
Here's Our Problem,  Eddie
Heavy Operations Particle Erradicator
Hire Our Plumbers & Electricians
Heroic Off-Planet Expeditionary
Hard OPerations Electronics
Hey! Our Prisoner's Escaping! (just saw "Cool Hand Luke" again last night)

I can't remember the other ones I came up with. Maybe a swift bump to the head will bring them back.

Acronyms for H.O.P.E. that I found

High-performance Open Portable Environment
Huge Overhead Polymorphic Engine
Hydrogen Oxygen Primary Extraterrestrial

Maybe a combination of two of those - considering what you are planning with the backpack:

Hydrogen Oxygen Polymorphic Engine

High Output Projected Energy.  Something that absorbs an insane amount of power and then "projects" it.  It's Gundam X all over again.

Another interesting project, I'm curious to see how you'll put together all these inspirations.
Kinda makes me want to have bought one of those cheap WZC even if I know I wouldn't have done anything with it (and I couldn't buy one anyway).
