I have a question - I hope this is the right place - i noticed that very few Mecha have the padeyes that are so prevalant on armor

it seems that they would be there to service the units- any thoughts on how these would look?

I think they'd go under the category of "giblets" if that's what they were called. (The little pieces of misc stuff you add on for detail.)

it seems you would need these to get a hold of it - I'm building a dio of a hangar for my PG 78-2 (stole the idea for fichtenfoo's malevolent creature) and it needs something!

mosy likely, if these were actual machines, but since these are hand drawn, the animators don't feel like adding in that extra detail
