can somebody give me some tips on preventing paint from rubbing off around joints? i've tried heavy clearcoating and leaving extra room but the paint still manages to get ruined around the joints

First off... like MB said, please search thoroughly.

Then avoid over posing your kits. THAT is wat scratches the most paint. :wink:

also give the clearcoat sufficient time to cure before moving the parts....at least couple days(please disregard this comment if you're already doing this..... Tongue )

thats sounds like a good tip thorr i usually cant wait to assemble the gundam and end up doing it a few hours after clear coating...i'll have to see how that works
