Well, what do you think about the skinhead? I need feedback :)  I almost sold this one for $90.00 yesterday.

Count me in. This sounds like a ton of fun. I've been wanting to build a MaK kit for a long time now. Perfect opportunity. I've actually got a couple of completed figures in 1/35 scale. One is the Gladiator and the other a Melusine trading figure I picked up last year at one of my LCS.

Anyways, once I figure out how to sign up I'll be official and stuff!

Stippy: Looks good from what I can tell, but the images are blurry. Do you have any sharper images? It's hard to make out the details.

U-recca: Glad you can join in! I signed you up so it's official!

That's a good one. I saw that posted a few days ago at another forum. I asked about the plants and he uses aquarium plants for the jungle stuff.

Roger: Welcome aboard!

Really, that's cool...You guys have definitely hit the head on the nail about Ma.K's resurfacing popularity.

Also, let's give our own FF for a great job on the build badge...woot woot!

Let's see now...only 6 freakin' months to go...it is ok to finish early..so get to work you slackers!  (Hey, I'm preachin' to myself here... )

Later,

I doubt i'll be able to wait six months.. heh, heh..

On a cool side note, I was reading up on Ma.K and found this tidbit "This name is usually contracted and appears as "Ma.K." (It is also a nod to the Macintosh Computer, which the Ma.K. designers use)."

Macs rule!

I would like to try but having just started modeling will probably make it a very hard kit. I think that'll order one on my next order to hlj and I'll tell you here if I join the group.

By the way, if I join, I think I'll need some help from you guys.

qc: the 1/16th scale are toys I believe. There are 1/6 scale soft vinyl available, but they're expensive.

Those pics look much better. I didn't notice the snow on the mech in the old ones. That's the only thing that bothers me about the build. I get the impression that these suits would get hot due to the combustion engine on its back. Yours is obviously moving and "on" so seeing snow on it seems weird. Unless like a freshly started car, it hasn't melted.

Aside from that, great!

How are you taking your pics? They might turn out crisper if you used a mini-tripod and set the timer and didn't touch the camera. I used to blur mine all the time till I started doing that.

Thats a good idea, about the tri-pod! Ill have to get one and try it!
The snow is only on the high points that are away from the exhaust, you probably couldnt see that the area around the engine is slightly wet due to the snow melt, alot of the heat is diverted from the suit by the tank on the back. I know its hard to see, but I tried to get the look of snow melt on the back.

The Bassist from Blink 182  has the same name as me, it's also a little reminder that I can be called that too, actually, I'd prefer it.  But yeah, it is a little on the WTF side of things when I think about it.
