So this past week I started finishing up a majority of the body. I have all the decals on the torso, arms, head, and waist and everything has had the final coat of Mr. Super Clear Flat. All thats left to do is weather it a bit and thats it.

I still have the shoulder armor, the legs, and the weapons to finish up this weekend.

Lovely!

I like how the gatlings integrates into the forearm, not to mention the metal ammo chains.  The dry brushed finish is absolutely great and I love the choice of color too.  Are those just fuel tanks in the back (the six little ones), or are they the bits like sazabi?   There is so much more I can say about this Kampfer, very well done!!

I have got to say i have been watching this tread close and could not wait for you to finish ! And now that it is done, WOW great job. You really blended everything together so nicely.

Oh and I might add that you seem to be the first done. Nice job my friend.Nice job

What did you use for the round base may I ask?

Sweet!!!

I like the look of the Kampfer...

I like the extra tanks on the back of the Kampfer to extend it's range. The Kampfer is ready to attack a fortified position  Cool

Great Job...

Yeah... this is certainly the best finished entry we've gotten so far.  LOL Not that it being the ONLY finished entry we've got means anything...

Looks great though. Love the forearms. My only suggestion would be to paint the feedbelt.

Guess I'm the only one that does like the forearms LOL I think the angle on the back of it is too much and it should be wider at the top, that flat surface just doesn't look right... The missile pods and the fuel tanks don't look "right" to me ether

I LOVE everything else, its all very awesome. And the side leg thrusters... I'm going to steal that, though I can't tell if you ment for that gap to be there or if it was too late to do anything about

I fully expect you to rip mine apart once its done LOL

Here are a couple of detail shots that I had mentioned in my earlier post:

Overall Mods:

Head:
Extended "chin"
Extended side pieces on head
Extended rear of head
Added LED for the mono-eye
Replaced "horn" with scratch built piece

Arms/Shoulders:
Added chain guns to forearms
Added second spikey shoulder
Extended spikes on left shoulder
Added Missle packs and flat area on top of shoulder
Mechaskunk beads and ammo belt

Torso:
Mechaskunk beads
Enlarged top of chest and added wave option parts
Enlarged center of chest (part that opens to reveal cockpit)
Cut out plastic "tubing" around neck and replaced with Mechaskunk snake chain

Waist:
Added rear ammo drums to existing shotgun mount. (scratch built the rack that holds the two drums)
Scratchbuilt two front auxiliary "skirt" boosters

Legs/Feet:
Extended Knee guards
Enlarged shin armor
Enlarged rear calf armor to accomodate 2 boosters
Added extra boost to the rear of each leg
Added aux. fuel pods to rear of legs
Added wave nozzle to the side boosters on each leg
Added aux. booster to top of each thigh
Filled in beam sabre holes on front of thigh
Extended front and rear of both feet, added hump in between "claws" on both feet
Mechaskunk beads in feet and thighs

Back:
Scratchbuilt missle/fuel pods mounted in existing bazooka mounts

Decals are Mechaskunk and Samueldecal custom waterslides

There might be more, but I cant think of anything right now. Thanks for all the comments everyone!

Major Blah: I had thought of them as either dummy fire cluster bombs, or a diversionary device such as chaff. The two big tanks coming off of them are fuel tanks.

Oteebzo: The round base is just  2 1/4" thick acrylic discs that I bought at Tap Plastics. I then made up the logo on the computer and printed it out.
