You guys are too quite today! So lets spark a conversation... what's your favorite build that you personally have done? What build gave you the most joy during the process, not just relief at the end for being over.
For me it was the
Mosquito
. Lots of fun throughout the whole process and lots learned. No burn-out or pissed-offedness at bad fittings or anything. Although this could change with any random kit I may do in the future!

For me at the moment it's my
SD Z'Gok
. I had lots of fun putting it together and making the diorama for it.
That could change soon though, I'm quite enjoying my
Hyaku Shiki
as I progress with it.

I'd say my TTT Marasai, very interesting build because:
-first scratchbuilding and quite successful one IMO. I managed to do exactly what I had in mind, very rewarding to see the result in real.
-I really enjoyed doing it, no burn-out.
-except for the last coat, the painting (first time with an airbrush) went pretty smoothly and that's a color scheme I love.
So, many things learned, too bad it had such a tragic fate in the end

My 1/144 deathscyth hell custom. No images up though. It's not the greatest build, but I had a lot of fun building that kit. It was the first kit I was actually really proud of, enough of to make a diorama using the second torso from the 1/144 talgeese 3 as a leo.

It's a tie between my MG EZ-8 and Gouf Custom. Even though they've both got their problems, I still feel good each time I look at them.

The more you learn, the harder you have to work to please yourself with each kit.

My zaku was my best and the one that really got me hooked on gundams. I loved the kit even thou I snapped it and hand painted this kit, which I think I want to strip and to do with my airbrush and seams done.
Next would have to be my gelgoog marine. This was also a nice kit to play with.

Ok,
Great topic :) . I enjoyed the most building a diorama depicting operation cobra. this was a major breakthrought operation by the allies in July 1944, intended at breaking through the German forces in normandy. The operation was a major success, and the German forces were crushed.
The dio shows an American platoon, advancing in normandy. It was the most enjoyable project up to date, and although I advanced in skills since then, I still like it.
The most enjoyable part was the street, which was 97% scratchbuilt using foamcore, cardboard and cork.
It took me 4 months to complete, and is too large to fit in my display board, well...
(I also added a link to the article, there are some in progress pictures there, and the first one shows how everything started):

As far as Gunpla I would have to say it's a toss up betreen the MkII Ver 2.0 and my Pg Strike with the Aile strike pack Both OOB
But as of right now I would have to say my Zoid/ Microman Hybrid as I'm pinting it with a custom pant scheme

The 1/144 scale Dendrobium was my favorite. It took several months of "an hour at a time", and at every turn of the manual's page I appreciated the intricate design and functionality of the kit.
I look up from my desk and see it on top of the TV unit and marvel at the sheer size and everything that went into it.
