Heavy Modification:

Rainbow 10 [ http://www.rainbowten.co.jp ] will be sponsoring 10,000 Yen in prizes for the Heavy Modification Kategory for the Krazy Kustom Kampfer Kompetition! Here's the breakdown:

1st Place (Gold): 5,000 Yen Gift Certificate
2nd Place (Silver): 3,000 Yen Gift Certificate
3rd Place (Bronze): 2,000 Yen Gift Certificate

R10 has also advised that the gift certificate can be used for both the item and the postage, however it's not refundable and effective only to one order. Also, the person who wins the
prize can add his own funds (credit card) to buy more than given gift credit.

So I'd like to send a big thank you to Rainbow 10 for sponsoring the Heavy Modification kategory. Check them out and order up your Kampfer and more! Great prices and the best customer service around!

Light Modification:

Kevin Comer, aka U-Recca (who helped get the R10 sponsorship) [ http://www.plamowarriordx.com ]will be sponsoring the light modification category.

Out Of Box:

Fulcy from MechaSkunk [ http://www.mechaskunk.com ] will be sponsoring the OOB kategory. When he confirms his contribution, I'll post it up here.

Thanks U-Recca, Fulcy and R10!

And I'm still throwing in a can of Jalapeno Vienna Sausages! I'm not sure what that sponsors. Perhaps the appropriate category would be the kit most likely to induce vomiting.

Yeah, if anyone wants to sponsor a "special" prize... ie Best Diorama, Best Paint, Best use of non-Gundam parts, etc... PM me with your idea and the prize you wish to donate. Do not post it here as this is for official prizes only.

(and yes, the sausages are an official prize!)

Haha, I know, I was copying and pasting and forgot!  Are you jealous that Kevin gets two rounds of applause?!

Must proof-read all my posts to avoid future embarassments!  Time to grab a sticky treat...

That's really cool. I had no idea R10 would be willing to do that. Are they also willing to give us a group discount on our kampfers  :D ?

Rainbow 10's kits are all already discounted. It's actually not a bad deal ordering from them if you choose SAL for your shipping. I usually get my stuff in 3-4 weeks.

Actually, their prices are already discounted - I've got an email into them, asking about shipping costs, and which would be cheaper - bulk ship to me and then i ship them out, or shipped directly to you guys...

Yeah, I've ordered from rainbow 10 before, and the prices are really good, considering the others out there. However, as a student, I'm trying to cut some costs right now, while still doing the hobby.

Save up fifty cents. Viola! Vienna sausages (or your choice of other fine potted meat products).

That's hellsa nasty.

As a prize, I could throw some MG and HG gunpla instruction manuals towards someone, maybe as an "honorable mention prize"  :)

That's almost insulting. :?

Any donations for this comp should be worth while. U-Recca for example is awaiting news of future releases to maybe offer up as prizes. I know one of the prizes he's offering, and it's cool, but will wait till he's nailed down all 3.

Yeah there is really no need for manuals these days with dalong and hobbysearch.

If anyone has any ideas for prize donation, please PM FF or one of the moderators.
