Niiiiice stuff, qc.  I looked at some of your previous kits as well...again, nice work.  This one will look a lot better after it is painted...right now it reminds me of one of those over-pimped out vehicles...

That is some great work with scratch building...great stuff!  Keep it coming!

Later,
:taz:

PS  I sent you a PM....

Absolutely great head mod/scratch build.

My gut feeling is that it might be a bit too busy in the shoulder/arm area.

I look forward to seeing it painted.  That gatlin is fantastic.
n my time, nightmares walked among us, walked and danced, skewering victims in plain sight, laying their fears and worst desires out for everyone to see. This...to make us laugh.

yeah...
totally realized how busy it was.
i kinda made it piecemeal....working on the legs, then the weps...then the arms, etc.
i just wanted him to all these options....only after the total picture is complete do i see my folly.  perhaps when i display him he'll never carry all his shit at one time?....perhaps i can have some of it loaded on vehicles on the display base.

thanks for the kind words.
the head is something i'm proud of...took the most time per volume of work.  not sure if pics show adequately, but there is a small cannon on the side of his head with a snake line going to his shoulder.  I saw a picture on a site of an interpretation of a dijeh head...and went from there, with some embelishments.

thanx

QC, great stuff you got there. Your scratch-built pieces look great, but I'm thinking like Major Blah, it may be a little too busy.  Though your idea of putting some of the equipment on the vehicle display base could solve that problem. It will allow you to display your great work while not making the kit look so busy. I'm really looking forward to seeing you finish this project. Btw the head mod looks really awesome!

I'm diggin this so far. A bit over-detailed perhaps for my taste, but after painting and washing it should look awesome. The head reminds me of a GM sniper somewhat.

GM SNIPER?...hmm...don't see it...but cool.

yeah...thing with ..i wouldn't call this scratch...more like a symphony of diff pieces.  but all the diff crazy colors form diff kits....makes it difficult (at least for me) to visualize the finished product.  I took some black & white pics to help me visualize...and will likely really be helped when its primed one color.

yeah...detail heavy.

again..was more of an exercise for me...def think i'm going for a super simple mod next time...think'g SD GP-02...with real legs...we'll see.

It's that bulk in the front of the face that reminds me of the flip-down visor for whatever reason. That and the colors. Not the 8th mst version mind you, but this one:
