To be totally honest, it doesn't quite hold up in comparison to some of your earlier efforts on your website/blog. It appears that the paint is a little thick and the lack of panel lines really makes this look less like a model project and more like an under-detailed snapped kit. I'd strongly urge you to go back and add some detail to this before calling it "completed". Even just taking a technical pen to the panel lines would make a world of difference.

However, it's easy for me to criticize, since I'm still hand-painting my projects--not having "upgraded" to an airbrush.

This kit is only the first part of a diorama I am doing, but I wanted to get the pictures of each model I do posted for critism first so as I progress I can fix up anything I may have missed.

Yes, I agree it may need some panel linings and I may go back and do it later on before the whole project is finished.

As for the paint, it is quite thin actually. I think it looks a little thicker due to the way I air brushed it on and gloss coated it. I scratched a couple of pieces off of the leg when I was reassembling it and the paint is quite thin.

Thank for for your opinion too, I am always open to constructive critisim as that is the only was I will learn and improve my works.

I have made some changes :

Does it look better? I'm not overly happy with the panel lines but the slight shading that I have applied looks a little better.

It does look like the Wolverine colors (which is one of my favorite comics) But I think it is lacking alittle highlights. Alittle pazaz. It just really seems too cut and dry, maybe another color to highlight everything and make it POP!

It doesn't look like the sabre hilts are painted...

But other than that, the panel lines really make it look tons better. Not bad.
