Just saw pics of new Epyon Line Art with MG next to it. Should be popping up soon. Sorry for not posting pics, but they belong to someone else and I didn't want to steal.
Hey, how's it going?

I saw the scans as well. Definitely...different. I am not sure if I am excited, or disappointed at this point. Will have to reserve judgment until I see some clearer pics. Epyon is still one of my favorite designs, I was kinda hoping it would be the original, not a newly designed EW style kit.

Based on the sketch, I may still do my own version of the Epyon using the Wing Ka. and other random parts. Will have to wait and see though.

Ok, that kit has gone from a "more than likely going to get" to a "must have."  Thanks for the news  :)

Wait... Bandai has been including waterslides for the whole UCHG line so far. No big news that this would have them too, but they are always welcome.

Like Matt, I didn't realize this either.  Haven't really paid much attention to the UCHG line, as none of the kits before this one interested me at all.  Depending on how I like this, I may end up picking up the Hovertruck, too.

They also include waterslides with all of the Macross Frontier kits too. :)

The Mega Size 1/48 Gundam & Zaku kits also include waterslide decals. But it's a very small sheet.

AmiAmi has colored shots of the kit up on its pre-order page:

Parts I like, parts not so much. I'm still torn...

Looks alright.  The head looks weird along with the thighs.   The rest looks good.

Man... Epyon got fat. He's really let himself go since the 90's.

I like Katokis iteration of the Epyon. Would have liked broader shoulders at 45 degree angle, but I can live with this. Now, bring on the Tallgeese so I can squeal to the heavens.
Hey, how's it going?

I think there's an error in the aspect ratio of the colored images of the Epyon.  Look at the chest gem, for instance, it's wider than it is tall...

I did a little photo edit, "correcting" the aspect ratio of the colored image of the Epyon and comparing it with an earlier single-color prototype photo.  It's on Hobbyfanatics:
My Epyon post

If somebody wants to pull the image and upload it somewhere else and repost it here, that's cool.  I'm not going to bother.  :)

If people are saying this version of Epyon is fat...  then I'd have to say they forgot what the Epyon looks like.  Huge Okawara barrel-chest, like the rest of the Winger Gundams...
