That's great! Does that pic in the BG mean that there will be a 1/35 hovertruck?

Not sure, but I'm guessing Bandai will produce it as usual...let's hope it's truly to scale this time.

Good eyes on the hover truck, now this is exciting.

My 2 cents...
« Reply #24 on: May 26, 2006, 11:21:24 AM »
My favorite- the GP02. Based on the MG, I thought the GP02 was a really lame design until I actually saw 0083. The GP02 has that classic spread-winged firing pose, much like the WZC, but the old MG GP02 kit can’t even duplicate it!   Plus, the MG is just too big and too expensive. I like the GP02, but I don’t like it that much. I think HGUC will be just right for the GP02.

I like the blue and white colors of the F-90, reminds me of the NT-1, I’m curious to see how the no polycaps idea works. And the Gyan starts to look better ever time I look at it… A few minor mods and a better color scheme could make a winner out of it. Oh, wait, that’s how I ended up with a Zeong. :?

Finally, while a 1/35 hovertruck would be cool, how about a 1/100 hovertruck to go along with the MG kits? And not a $100 resin kit either. They made the EX patrol car to go with the Patlabors, but for the 08th we get the Dodai II and Core Booster, but no hovertruck? C’mon, Bandai… Either make a 1/100 hover truck or a 1/35 RX-79(G)!

Gyan was released yesterday and I red the instructions on www.1999.co.jp/eng/gundam and it's a must buy. 1/100 Hovertruck is my dream,  I had such big hope when they came out with Ball because if they do a mobile armor, they might go into parts of ships or the hovertruck, or any other lesser seen things. If they make Turn A and Victory along with other series and long awaited models, they could make alot more money. P.S., is there any news on a friggin Perfect Grade? I mean seriously, the last release was a year ago!

One more quick thought...
« Reply #26 on: May 28, 2006, 08:58:38 AM »
Sorry to re-post, but this just hit me this morning...

Given Bandai's recent love for stuffing boxes full of plastic (adding hangar dioramas, for instance), creating 2 in 1 products (like the PG GP01and their FIX-Figuration/Zeonography lineup), and the F90/F91's small size, what are the odds they'll be together in the same kit? One frame and two sets of armor/weapons ala FIX Figuration?

It's a stretch, but I wouldn't put it past them! Would that be a good thing or bad thing :?:  :?:  :?:

Bad thing. You'd pay money for extra parts you didn't want. And if you DID want both of them, you'd pay money to for extra parts you had to buy again anyway for the second frame.

Apart from that, no way they'll do it. Look at the price they've confirmed for it.

HGUC Powered GM! Since I dug the MG Ako conversion, I'll probably pick up a squad and do at least one more Cloud 09, but with an open chute. B)

Quote from: "gunota"
According to info from Plamoya-san's Useless Diary Ex-S, an HGUC Powered GM is coming August 10th (Pam's Homepage gives the price as 1,260 yen). Additionally, the HG Verde Buster will be out on August 7th. Other release dates given:
1/100 Astray Gold Frame Amatu - July 6
HGUC GP02A - July 21
MG Gundam F91 - July 27

I also have made this thread the official talk about new gunpla news thread. Post it all here.

Hadn't considered that, but scratched just like my original. Same style.

Could this mean an HGUC Type C is on the way?

I really didn't see a HGUC  Powered GM coming, though I'm certainly glad it is.  Now I gotta get some more Dom Tropens and do a dio of the base attack.  Why did Bandai suddenly decide to release good stuff?

I just hope the ressurection of the 0083 line doesn't lead to an HGUC Gerbera Tetra as opposed to an MG. That'd suck.

Here's a rumor to be taken with a grain of salt. It came from 4chan so really... take it with a really small grain of salt. Apparently the MG Gyan was shown on Keroro before it was announced and some believe Bandai did that as a way to announce their upcoming kit. Someone on 4chan posted the following image believeing that an MG Hambrabi may be on the way. Truth or rumor? Considering Bandai's lack of MG Zeta baddies, probably a rumor.

I like the Ham so I'd be pleased if it was truth.

Keroro eh?  That's an interesting observation.

I would love Hambrabi in MG form, this is one of those "I have to buy three of them" kits, if it ever comes out...

PGM is confirmed

If there was a Hambrabi I would cry. It would be so cool and it would also mean that were on the high road to the actual wanted mechas.

A review of MG Gyan with lots of pictures is up at Dalong.  The Gyan is freakin' amazing, I'm excited and looking forward to getting mine in a couple days. 8)

Oh, I can't wait to make my order at the end of this summer. Or wait, I'm going to japan, I think I'll go on a shopping spree in Japan. Plus I have a sweet European 15th century scheme with some sick rustic colors on the sheets.

It has some cool features, and I like the internal skeleton, but am I the only one who thinks this thing just looks goofy?  Not exactly intimidating.  Maybe if it had a different head, and lost the bell-bottoms...
