1/60 PG Freedom Gundam
here's what i'm currently doing simultaneously with my kaite madigan's zaku and my MG justice conversion....a pg freedom~~

started this kit since december last year but still not finished yet because i'm trying to depict all the details of a pg kit so that the freedom wont come out looking like a 1/60 freedom slap whole heap onto the strike pg's frame...just wouldnt work for me.. so i decided to zest it up with some details i came up with..

so here are the prog pics:




here's the modification done onto the skirting to fit the freedom portion....gonna mod it to fit the 'PG' likeness...



here's the body....did some modification onto the cockpit....details are referred to the MG freedom....and added some spice with some detailings thereafter...



here's the shoulder... and also the PG like shoulder is apllied where the hatches can open as below:

there are actually more prog pics, but my eyelids kinda heavy right now and need to wake up early tomorrow...got class to attend...

Looks like you're looting peaces from the 1/60 Freedom. What are you going to do about the wings and side skirts?

actually i've already done the side skirts...the only things left are the wings~~

Does look good. Would never do that to mine, I love the PG Strike as it is. Maybe a Gouf Custom style mods, but this is your project.

argles! That is amazing man!! I would do something like that, but that's when my skillz are enhanced :P anyways, you're not going to use the wings from that 1/60 HG(?) Freedom are you? I recommend not since it's so stubby and weak. Same goes for the railguns. But then again... I believe that you will scratch build them right?? :D

actually i'm gonna use the wings and the rail guns from the 1/60 freedom. yeap i totally agree about their stubiness but that's where i'm gonna mod so that they'll turn out better than originally. also, the wings are modded to match the MG version except that more detailed like the PG aile striker pack.

been quite a while since ive updated anything on this kit...rather than waiting for the wings to complete, i starte dpainting this it yesterday..
just done the upper torso earlier this evening..


a shot of the inner frame...painted with normal grey with a lil bit of black, still not weatherd yet and also the panel lines arent done yet.


closeup of the pilots seat..


front view of it complete with the armor..


rear


area around the neck adn upper chest.. the grey parts are damn hard to paint since i handpainted that part...


front chest vernier covered with the grills~~

still got panel linings to do and then set with decal and cover it with topcoat...
then i'll think when i'll paint the arms...

i used mr color laquer based paint (the funny bottle cap)
the brush marks are actualy quite visible, but the photos somehiw hid them from being seen..

anyways, notice the last pic, i thought the particles were dust untul i smudged it and found out they were actually chrome particles from me spraying the pistons...
darn it, now have to repaint that part...  :(
