Hi all-

I'm new to this forum, an aircraft modeler recently bitten by the huge Gundam bug. Jets can be boring...To get to the point, I mainly use a lot of Model Master Enamels and Gunze Mr. Color which are quite 'fumey', and I would like to change to acrylics. Specifically, Tamiya acrylics. A friend mixes his somewhere around 60-40 paint to thinner- using water as the thinner. I get nothing but spiderwebbing- me thinks I need to retard it. Any recommendations on a different kind of thinner? I've heard isopropyl is best. Does it work well with Gunze Aqueous? Thanks for the help!

Thanks Fulcy and FF for that- do you know how easy that made it look? I appreciate the link and I look forward to trying it soon.
