Hmm, drill a small hole in the ball and the stick, fit it with peace of wire and carefully superglue it.
Actualy, I don't know where a normal person would find hard temper wire... but my desk is covered with it

Had the same idea a while ago is the makers site but they don't ship here. I have yet to fined a place that has them in stock. Don't forget you'd still have to spend $100+ on the rifle

Sorry bout that, tee-hee

Finished the inner frame and backpack and painted it half gunmetal/half gray, vents and such are metallic blue. Think the color came out rather well and having not tought my selt to dry brush, I'm not gona worry about it. Paint is handbrushed and is bound to stay that way. Armor is partialy cut and cleaned and next on the list. I don't have a solid scheme yet, I'm thinking more blue/black than the standard and dirty white and some thing to highlight. Painting is gona have to wail till I can go shopping this weekend.

Lighting sucks in my room and my camera can't handle it, the knees are closest to actual (just a little blue and thats Ti gold) you can see some holes in the paint too but they don't show up in normal light.

Starting my first REAL build. Full prebuild, filling, sanding, full paint, drybrushing, weathering... blah blah blah. Sure its just a Nu and I think its damn ugly, but no loss if I fail, right? (pics once I paint the frame)

One minor paint question, Tamiya gun metal and dark gray (50/50) for a dark half metal finish?

Not behind you where it matters. The floor mat gets a little wet, you pull a G or 2 and you're floating in space before you land on your head.

I say chair mod

Oooooo...I wana lick it     I really like the blue insted of red

Wish mine was gona look that good, but I don't have any mods planed or even airbrush fancy painting (okay, I candied wing edges and it looks hot). But yeah, its a very time consuming kit

No clue on the price. Got a fiberoptic setup from Star Trek diorama I never bothered to finish. Just a little drill, the fiber, battery holder and light box. Couldn't cost too much.

Does look good. Would never do that to mine, I love the PG Strike as it is. Maybe a Gouf Custom style mods, but this is your project.

mrmaigo, the thing with that is creating a decal that will match the realism of the cockpit. I would LOVE something like that if I could find a way. I want this to be lighted, with at least two LEDs on the instrument panel.

Fiberoptic? For the insturments and the stars? The decals don't have to be big, they can and probably should be far away
