Thats really nice.
I kinda think the legs look bland compaired to the shoulders and upper body (maybe just a few decals) and the rifle looks kinda whimpy... but 4 days... wow... I'll never do better

Picked up a HG Red Frame (first HG and 144) this weekend and it needs some work to look cool. The plan is to widen the arms and legs, mod the feet (lots of drying fill work) , move the beam sabers (done), mod the head (drying), add neck movement (needs filling), do something about those ugly shoulders, bigger backpack (thrusters maybe) and anything else I can think of. Might paint the white parts silver and um... otherwise standard colors... or not...

Alright, so I've cut and glued the feet. Just need filling and lots of sanding.

(bad pic, I know) Little mod on the rifle, moved the sabers onto the shield (might sand them down a little, but they don't get in the way. Head is drying so before I can sand and there's the neck mod.

Still got other stuff on the table, PG Strike weapons (had to fill a HUGE gap... I feel like such a dope!), then back to the Nu (much thanks to Gamerabaenre for the extra funnels)

Here's what I'm thinking. Put some putty on the sides of the polycaps and round it out so its like a cylinder, then put little peaces of styrene to fit close to the polycaps (with room for paint).

(think this explains it)

This way the cap isn't just looking misshapen in a little opening and you don't lose any mobility

I got superglue, I got talc. Whats the strongest mix consistancy wise, better thick like putty or just less than runny? Also, using it filling putty, any tips for that?

Thats really great looking work, I'm just woundering why the shield isn't colored to match the armor. I mean, yeah, it matches the under armor, but its too bright in comparison

Hey guys.

I'm soooo sick of making and destroying sanding sticks that I have been tempted by Tamiya's range of metal files. Has anyone had any expereinces with these (good or bad)?

I have never ever cleaned the plastic from a metal file... tips for that would be great too

Everything needs cool metal spikes. I wana put cool metal spikes on everything, how do they attach?

Ugh... I hope thats not how they're doing F91's arms
Why won't they just give us a MG/PG astray?
