1  Models / Model In-Progress / Re: Iron Man Mk VII 1/9 Scale from Dragon on: May 13, 2013, 06:30:18 PM
I've become a fan of Iron Man for sure. I'm currently collecting all the Revoltech Iron Man figures, but I've never built an IM kit.

Would be fun to build one and throw some customisation on!

Your amazing sense of detail never fails to impress.

I can't get over how awesome that GM looks. It's probably one of the best colour schemes I've seen for one of those. The weathering is looking great!

Cool man, have a good time at the modeler's convention. I'm sure your piece will get lot's of looks!

Looking forward to seeing the final pics.

I think the colour should tie it all together, so it'd be fine to have that go over both the white and the tan parts. A dash of metallic stuff could be sweet, considering its mechanical nature :)

I'll have to keep an eye out for some Tamiya compounds, I've got a model that'll definitely need kind of a shiny candy coating.
6  Models / Model In-Progress / Re: Drone Sniper (1/8th scale resin from Industria Mechanika) on: May 08, 2013, 05:20:26 PM
I wouldn't worry too much about it seeming like it's wearing underwear. I think as soon as you start doing washes and such that idea'll be gone.
I'd probably go with either the orange or the blue. You could also be daring and try purple!

Really like the different colours already. The spine in the back also pops quite well. How'd you polish the white before you got started on the rest?

The lights in the head really add a lot. Lookin' good, Will!

Yeah, nice interior work indeed. I'm sure you're seeing mistakes, but I'm not seeing any :) The helmet doesn't look too clean, it looks a little dirty, but still maintained.

Looks like you're well on your way. I definitely like the new 'clip' on the gun :)
10  Models / Model Gallery / Re: RG Zeta on: May 02, 2013, 04:20:41 PM
Looks like a pretty clean build, and the colour scheme is pretty sweet too :)
11  Models / Model In-Progress / Re: 1/100 RGM-79 Ground Unit Dio with APC and Troops on: April 28, 2013, 03:02:01 PM
Still lovin' the colour scheme. It looks awesome in scale with the building too.
12  Models / Model In-Progress / Re: Astray Team Project on: April 28, 2013, 02:59:10 PM
Those circular compass styrene cutters are badass.

It looks cool, but I'm not sure what that weapon is supposed to do. does he just beat other suits with it? Good progress though!
13  Models / Model Gallery / Re: Real Grade ZAFT MS GUNDAM Freedom ZGMFx-10A on: April 28, 2013, 02:54:19 PM
Lookin' good! Freedom is definitely a nice kit.

Double X is cool too, but there's no RG of that just yet. We can only hope!

Flyfishing, obviously.
15  Models / Model In-Progress / Re: 1/100 RGM-79 Ground Unit Dio with APC and Troops on: April 25, 2013, 03:02:45 PM
Really liking that colour scheme for the GM, it's very earthy and kinda gritty. Can't wait to see that amplified by weathering :)
16  Models / Model Gallery / Re: WhirlyBot scratch-build on: April 21, 2013, 03:15:17 PM
Also gonna chime in on how cool the paintjob on the eyes is.

The foot is also quite cool, I assume most of that was sculpted out of putty?
17  Models / Model Gallery / Re: Moebius Battlestar Galactica on: April 21, 2013, 03:12:50 PM
Looks like a pretty detailed kit, and you've managed to bring most of those out quite well. Excellent job on the weathered red accents!
18  Models / Model In-Progress / Re: 1935 Bugatti/Tesla hybrid magnetic levitation race car prototype on: April 21, 2013, 03:11:11 PM
Well this is exciting!

As I understand it, you covered the entire foam part in milliput?
19  Models / Model Gallery / Re: AMX - 003 Gazac on: April 18, 2013, 10:47:20 AM
That's some heavy battle damage there, looks cool!

Glad you removed the decals, I think it's either the amount of damage on the parts or maybe at whichever stage you tried to apply them why they turned out like that.
The paintwork looks great though :)
20  Models / Model In-Progress / Re: 1/100 RGM-79 Ground Unit Dio with APC and Troops on: April 17, 2013, 08:12:27 AM
Excellent progress, Hunter!

Especially with an MG you spend a lot of time on the internal frames before covering them up forever Tongue

Looking forward to more work on the building. Good start with the street too!
