Looking good so far. I cleaned up the upper body of mine, but didn't have time to start the legs yet. Sucks about that seam, I'll have to check and see if all kits are like that or if it's a fluke. If it's run-wide, then I'll be complaining to the caster on everyone's behalf.
Yeah, that spring box is super-delicate. Surprised they were able to cast it.
I'm told that Freaky Gothic is coming out great so look forward to getting that soon and seeing how it compares to this.

Thanks! Yeah, I had considered doing a dust effect with cotton on the rear wheels, but that could only be dne for a static piece that doesn't have to be disassembled for travel I think. I need to be able to remove the wheels from the base to be able to take this to shows and such. Compromise. :-(

Thanks! It's experience really... I'm not doing anything here I haven't done before so it's going quick. Plus if I forget something, I just go back and read my old SBS's. The downside though is also just that... I'm not doing anything here I haven't done before. Practicing skills is of course great and a good way to keep them sharp, but I always worry about stagnation and falling prey to that mindset that "this is how it should be and that's how I'm always gonna do it". That's DEFINITELY to be avoided! But I have lots of ideas to come so no worries!
