4  Models / Assembly/Scratchbuilding / Re: Ball Joints on: March 19, 2008, 09:30:34 PM
The Polycaps i got on my model are stretched out. I'm trying to tighten them up. I will try the aforementioned super glue trick. I was also thinking some 2 part liquid Epoxy resin might work. Its really sticky, and a thin coat might stiffen up the joint a lot. I will try this and post my results.

Listn you can always wrap your joints in plastic wrap. ( the piece that goes in the other gets wraped) Then just cut the exposed from showing with a blae.

8  Miscellaneous / Capitalism Corner* / Re: polycaps on: March 17, 2008, 09:55:53 PM
Well the smallest one I have thet will work is 7mm long from end to end with 4mm outside and 3mm inside. that is smallest I can use. So I am not sure that there is one inbetween this next one. But the next one I can use is 10mm long end to end with a 6mm outside and a 5mm inside. This being the biggest I can use. Sorry no pix my girl moved camera and she sleeping so I can't wake her. I hope this is enough info. I can use anything between these measurements. Thanks for the help.
9  Miscellaneous / Capitalism Corner* / polycaps on: March 15, 2008, 10:20:19 PM
Ok , so I do not have enough polycaps for a project I am working on. I need 8 of the same size, the smaller the better. I was hoping someone out there had an over stock that they would be willing to give , trade , or sell. Please contact me

14  Models / Painting/Priming / Re: HELP! Can any mini compressor be attach to this airbrush? on: February 26, 2008, 06:39:10 PM
You can connect any airbrush you can possible find on the market to any compressor on the market. All you need is the right adapter to fit both ends. OH and make sure you have a moist trap and air regulator.

Ink should not prove a problem with cloges , but if it does use 409 cleaning spray because it works great on cleaning clogged pens, just them soak in it and your good
16  Models / Model Help* (Check Stickies and Search First) / Re: AirBrush parts Help! on: February 08, 2008, 10:30:14 PM
There are 2 different threads to hook up to your compressor.Either your iwata hose line or there is an adaptor from badger to fit. there are many sites to check out bearair.com which I have mentioned in past post also harborfrieght which I have also mentioned for cheap look alikes that will work with other airbrush parts and there is coastairbrush.com which IS THE BEST FOR iWATA NEEDS. If you do have anyother questions please feel free to ask at anytime.
