Well seeing that the sun is out I had to buy a new toy! I bought myself a new motorcycle and have been spending most of my time on that. I got a Kawasaki ZX10R which is a very fast bike, 186 hp and will do 116 Mph IN FIRST GEAR!!!!! I still have 5 more gears after that. This is like a rocket on 2 wheels. I will post a pic soon as I can get the camera working again.

I do have to say that if you really want to have fun get a bike!!

I quite like the shading. It makes the kit seem larger than it is. It looks like an MG in terms of scale, just from veiwing it alone with no other models nearby. I think the shading is what does that, and I think it's pretty cool. 

I have to agree. I like the way the shading came out too. It really made everything tie in.

I really like the Yaku. The chipping looks great, It looks like it is 2 colors faded together and then the solid color.Did you use a base color , then a white and then the top coat?

Removing the beads is easy! The "coal" doesn't roll, but the beads do. Put some on a piece of paper and then "U" the paper in one hand. Using whatever, move the mixture around while tilting the paper into a cup. The beads will just roll down and the coal won't depending on the angle. Moving the mixture helps seperate the beads from the coal easier.

As for sorting, I did it by eyeballing it and tweezering what I eanted from the plate I poured the balls on. But you could probably filter them with photoetch grates or fine mesh. Fulcy has some, but I'm not sure if it's in the store.

I actually found alittle easier way then this.I have tried Foo's way after hoplessly doing it my way and taking way to much time. I got to say Foo's was smoother but then I tyied this way which worked great. Put all the contents from the filter on a baking cookie sheet(The thin metal square sheets you put into the oven for making cookies).Use a piece of paper and sift it with the tray on a slant and you can clean all the beads out in about 30 seconds. I think the sheet metal helps the beads roll. Try it works great.

I have worked at a machine shop so I know this have taken hours apon hours to make. But I can not draw myself away from it!!!!! I skeleton makes me think what we can make as of a kit like ZLUCA!!   This really gives us a start as a skeleton to start from if you look close. Not really a building block but a imagine to say hey this will bend like this and work for this build!!!!!!!! :evil:If you can not see what I see then ....HAHA

This look great, is there hair 2 colors becuase the pix look like 2 different colors so I wondering,. What did you use to pin her? rod or floral wire?

You have so many kits started how do you find time?

What makes your choice when it comes to what you you finish?   I am just wondering because I have like 4 kits started and not sure which one I should be finishing when they all are practice kits?

Sure not a problem. I noticed that you did not receive ore gun 3 so that is ok.I understand completely.
