Model Talk / Mg Strike + IWSP

I preassembled this kit today and I have to say that Im not too impressed. The ankles, while being double ball jointed, are thin and weak. The whole kit just seems weaker compared to the mk II v2 ( Which is very well engineered and designed) . Its like they just took a no grade kit , changed the scale, added a few gimmicks, and released it as an mg. It is unfortunate because I was really looking forward to this kit because it has tons of weapons. I had assumed that since this is the most recent release that Bandai would build upon the strengths of the previous kits and progressively improve thier designs. I wonder if the Aile Strike is the same
    The mk II v2 was so well made in my opinion.  Im afraid I dont have as much experience with various kits as most of you. Is there that one kit that you feel Bandai really put alot of thought into? maybe a few? I apologize if this is the wrong forum.

Whenever  attempt to use It I dont get overflow of plastic oozing out of the seem. what is wrong here? I read somewhere that it is advised to wait 24 hrs to sand, could a CA accelerator like Zip Kicker be used to make it cure faster or is it the plastic that needs to settle?

Iam starting out and I have quickly learned that master grade class kits are alot better than high grade. So I keep attempting to biuld Mastergrade kits but, something bad like a mistake or a missing/broken part always gets in the way. I believe I need to practice more but I cant really afford to buy alot of MG kits. The Hg and HGUC kits are alot Cheaper. Should I get 5 or so kits to practice on? Are they any good? I have heard that they can be a real pain to assemble and dont turn out as well as the MGs. Are there any in particular that stand above the rest ?

I have a scan of my wing dundam ka painting chart. I have opened it in photoshop to colorize it but i cannot get it to work. I cannot get it to look like the image you are starting with in your tutorial. I am guessing because of the printing the lines are not solid enough and it tends to bleed to other sections.

I have not built a model in a while and I cannot remember what some of the symbols ( in the legend of the manual0 mean. can you point me in the right direction?
