Model In-Progress / Däs Jabberwock
« on: January 17, 2007, 01:40:04 PM »
My Kampfer finally arrived recently, so I got to work on my lineart for my proposed mods.
I christen thee... Das Jabberwock!
So far, this is where I am:

I also plan to do some mobility on the ankles. Is it just me, or does the joint in the lower knee seem really flimsy? I'm going to do a somewhat titans-esque or new desides theme. I've got a gatling from my G5 that I may also use.
Any thoughts?

For those who don't get it... check this:

Beware the Jabberwock my son!

Model In-Progress / 1/100 GM Canard

Anyone familiar with the GM Canard? You know, this fugly guy from Ecole du ciel?

Well, here's my kindergarten attempt at it, don't mind the head, that's just a placeholder. The base kit is the gundam G05.

Here's a closer look of the hip area. I really like the fact that the joint's are gonna show like this. I lengthened the thighs by about 3/8", much better proportion IMO.

What do you guys think so far? I'm considering how best to tackle the lower legs, and the knee. If I had a spare GM kai I'd use those. I'm gonna leave the gundam knees for now. I'll bondo them tonight and see how they look. It's still in the early stages mind you.

Model In-Progress / Zaku F2

Yeah, I decided to re-do my F-2 to look more mean and anime accurate, main mods are the knees, upper legs, feet, and I carved out the head so the innards could be slid in from below. I had to replace the feet because my brothers lost the f2 feet a long time ago (two years). I also made a weird blade thing, mostly as a color test for later when I try some paints I mixed. Sorry for the grainy pics, I'm using a really crappy camera 'cause I accidently dropped the good one.

Pics are here:

Model In-Progress / Weird-bot

I decided to start something weird to work on until I get supplies for my hazel head, so I started a semi scratch weird robot thing. The legs will have all holes puttied, and the lower/middle of the legs will be puttied and smoothed. The arms are weird and need detail, but I'm at a loss of what I should add. I like the thin and lanky look too the arms. Whatt'ya think? I'll be adding weird cables and such to the elbows, ankles, underarms and neck soon.
