Model Help* (Check Stickies and Search First) / product help
« on: July 12, 2005, 11:55:03 PM »
Hi all,
I was hoping someone could help me, I've just gotten the Gundam scratch building manual and it's great really easy to understand pictures and even brilliant information on making your own tools. The problem I'm having is because it's all in Japanese I don't know what some of the products are in particular a paste like gloop they use, some of it's a light sandy colour and some is grey (which in some pics is mixed with thinner). I assume it's like the bondo I’ve seen used or the body filler but being English I was hoping someone could tell me exactly what these are either a generic term I can look for here or even better what it might be called over here.
As an example of what they do with it it is out over a shaped piece of foam cut to a rough shape, sanded and hey presto a Zaku head.....
Thanks for any help and for anyone still interested I’ve found the perfect circle cutter I’ve posted in that thread....
