Model Gallery / Haruhi Suzumiya done..

Well one of the two. Having stocking issues with one leg on the black version, but once the glue dries, I can continue finishing that kit. Also adding a little more details to the guitars. They're missing the selector switches and I'm adding a few other things. My webhost is having problems so I cannot update my website... so here are some links to a few of the pictures I took earlier this morning.

For all you folks that live in SoCal, come on out and enter, or just check out things. I'll be there, Bhop has already stated that he'll be going. There are a couple of modelers from San Diego that make the 1.5-2 hour trek up here for this event; and I know there are quite a few SD gunpla builders here. There are even a group of folks from Las Vegas and Fresno that travel out here for this even. Time for you guys to show off some of your completed Gunpla/resin figure kits!

Model In-Progress / MG Gyan Progress

I snapped this kit this past weekend, and over this past week, I've been slowly sanding the internals, and doing a little bit of drilling for a few areas on the body for some metal beads. Going to try to finish this by OrangeCon, and hopefully before my figure kits get here from Japan *drool* I'd like to get one of the figures I recently bought finished for OrangeCon too, but not sure if I can do that within 6 weeks.

Started her up this past week.... between working on the Akuyaku tank dio and various animes on my computer... I've pretty much gotten her about 80% ready for primer. I'm hoping to finish her up by the first of August, so I can bring her out to Otakon....

Model Talk / Anime Expo 2006 - now with a "Model Building" work

This year, I decided to apply for a panel/workshop. I was expecting to get a 1 hour time slot on one of the Con days and then try to cram as much as my model knowledge and techniques out to people within that 1 hour span... And will be held on the following days:
7-9 PM Saturday
6-8 PM Sunday
4:30-6:30 PM Monday

I now have 3 two hour sessions to teach. Fulcy (or anyone else with a shop/site), if you want me to advertise your online shop/site, create a flyer and PM/Email me it and I'll print some out to hand out to folks attending the workshop.

And ff you are going to AX this year, stop on by and say hi, or if you want to learn the techniques I use, stop on by and pull up a chair!

I started pinning this guy last night, and finished pinning him after I finished pinning Mitsuki.... I'm actually starting to enjoy pinning and cleanup for resins more. I think its due to the softness of resin in comparison to Bandai Plastic. Heck, Hasegawa plastic is softer than Bandai Plastic....
