The base looks cool at least ;)

and am I the only one who looks at that gun and thinks retro? oO

Yea, the Hi-Nu MG is very much Seed-fied. I could tell as soon as I saw the positioning of the funnels...well anyway, from the pictures it looks like you can position the funnels down to a normal degree. And lets face it, one could easily do some modifications on it to look like the Hi-Nu we all know and love. not sure if I want one...despite its terrible proportions it looks like a solid model kit.

Those are pretty much my sentiments as well...MG Strike Noir?...meh. I mean im a fan of Seed, but im getting tired of this...can't we take a break from Seed for a little bit? I mean there are still plenty of good designs that havent recieved the MG treatment. a big fan of Akatsuki, and if the kit is really that expensive, perhaps that means that it will be a good model...only time will tell :P

But I will admit that when I saw the finished picture of the Hi-Nu, I as well thought that it looked better then it did. Still wont get one probably...

Yea I have that PG lineart somewhere, I just couldnt find it >.>

and that MG Astray looks really good! Although the Antenna is too vertical, it should be swept back towards the head more ^_^

Thanks for the pictures! :P

Edit: sorry for being so nitpicky...i'll shut up now...

Model Talk / PG Conversion CHALLENGE!

Ok, on the 1/100 and the SD models (not sure if there is a 1/144) the antenna is always flat against the head...this is a BIG no no. If you have read the manga you would see that the antenna isnt flat like that.

heres a couple images of how it SHOULD be done:

This one is the most accurate:

This one is just there to show a better front view, although its not entirely correct:
SD Astray Red Frame

Even though this is the blue frame, its still the same on the red frame, this one is just to show how swept back it can be, although it isnt supposed to be that thin...

omg...if someone built a GX...I would go crazy, im not exagerating one bit. I love the GX line, and no one ever seems to do anything with it! T.T

Although, I would also really like to see an Astray Red Frame. (as long as someone would FINNALY make the antenna the right way >.< )

Anyway, I have a PG Strike, and would LOVE to enter this challenge...but I dont even know how to paint properly just yet, and not being able to afford paint in order to improve is a slight factor as well.

looks absolutely beautiful with the primer on there! Looks great, I cant wait to see all the weapons and such! ^_^

Well, actually I think your original still looks better then the revised one...perhaps you could just use that light grey in the middle of the wing vent to break up the red there.

And yea I got my avitar off of Deviantart, here is the link:

he has quite a few ;)

I like it! I think the vents on the wings should be that dark grey as well though. Just my two cents ^_^

Quote from: "zerobxu"
A. The Hyaku Shiki came about before the whole "bling" thing took off.
B. "Bling" isn't a gold colored car. "Bling" is a (whatever) colored car with gold accents and gold rims.

... But you're right... It's a matter of opinion.

Yea I knew someone was going to point those out even as I was typing it...but I went ahead and typed it. I dont could argue that the Gold is for better transfer of electricity or something like that, then of course someone could counter it by saying that it wouldnt be needed on the outside of the frame...but hey I think it looks good so i'll just go with it. ^_^

I actually really like the funnels >.>

And your thoughts about the Gold plating dont make a whole lot of sense to me. I mean the Hyukushiki is like 90% gold and no one has ever accused it of being bling. Oh well doesnt matter everyone has their own opinions ^_^

Also, keep in mind the I.W.S.P version is just the Aile Strike MG without the Aile pack. The Gundam is the exact same there arent any changes. The Mk II v2 is a much newer MG then the Strike. I as well love my Strike MG, its hands/grip is very strong, it can hold just about anything I put in there, it holds a pose much better then the MG Freedom, and looks really good to boot. My only complaint is that its waist is a little loose...

I agree with FF, that blue and grey one grabed my attention before any of the others did. It looks good! ^^

Hey man, you cant rush art! This thing is looking better and better! I agree with your decision to lenghthen the shoulders a bit, it looks better. ^_^
