Hi dudes its been a while.
Here is my Fine Molds 1/72 Millenium Flacon I built and painted may be 2 years ago. It was in a hobby shop and I brought it back home to display it at a hobby and SciF-Fi show next march at Migennes France.
I built and painted it following Mike's tutorials which were very helpful. At first I did a base color a too dark so I had to repaint the whole thing and start again with a light grey color. I did the mods on the upper and lower decks to simulate blasters damages. This is not that difficult if u take your time and make this kit a little bit more unique.
The only issue i had was the with the canopy. Everything fits perfectly exept this piece I mean the clear part. But at the end it s ok. Special thx to Bengrimm who did the shots and the Photoshop work.

Nice kit for the age. I have a Horizon hobby vinyl one. All is warp but the head and chest are very accurate.

Hey you thought I was kidding ?!! No the kit has been cleaned with Cillit Bang and hot water it works very well. Could have used Glazer as well.
Now I did the first layer of paint a dark metallic grey and some orange for rust on bolts. I clear coat the pieces and test the hair spay technic on knees. I'm not very satisfied with it as its not very easy to control.
I will test my own technic without hair spray and I ll tell you how it turns out.

Back in time. Hello everyboby its been a while since I last post here. I guess the GB is over lol I gave up this build and all my builds for about a year. I started again last february. Here are some pics of the WIP. Now the kit is done. I finished it yesterday night. I should take some pics.

Here is my version of the Markov. Nothing really crazy. Took me 2 year and a half to complete it. Special thx to Alberto who send me another kit after the first one got lost between Italy and France.

Ok I am back on this kit. I am currently building my own business so I work almost 7 days a week and I don't have time for Kits or whatever. But I am still lurking on forums and talking with my good friends and watching fantastic things and dudes my heart bleeds. So as I don't work this WE and my sons and wife are not home I want to finish the Markov. It's almost done so stay tuned.

For those lik eme who have some skills in picture making it's clear. Making this kind of pics is not natural for me. I mostly shoot outside with a 50 mm with my 24:36 FM 2 and a 18/135 on my 550D.
Numeric camera are really amazing. There are so much possibilities, you can set the ISO, the WB etc. All these things were impossible with a traditional 24/36 but if you had several boxes and lenses.
