i'm not sure how they make the Fluorecent effect, but the paint itself is just like a mix of 5%clear purple with 95% gloss clear. when I put this kit under sunlight, i can see some purplish effect but not under indoor light.

try out the new paint from HAG, saw this series of paint from magazine with :saliva8zc: effect. consider cheaper than Gunze cause it come in big bottle  the paint dry quite fast, but i still left for 24hrs before i touch touch on it..
Black : GAIA EX-black Ex-02
GOLD : GAIA star bright gold 122
TOP COAT : Ex Fluorecent clear Ex-06

Make a base using old CD casing put in paper clay for the weight, cut out a pla-plate and stick some recycle parts on it...not very nice done...

There are both SILVER(mass production) and GOLD(customize for 1 pilot, forgot the name) 

CHAOS|ZERO, as mention in my thread, i'm going to try out the GAIA gold color~ and make a bling bling SUMO!

1/11/07 minor update... 1st time install LED.
Add in small LED for the eye... actually SUMO got 2 eyes... but the "helmet" cover up the other one.. I used a LED & wire taken from old keyboard. Cut off the eye(original kit is not transparent) drill a hole and replace with WAVE options part "H-EYES 1". here's the pic.

To celebrate the 100th MG is Turn-A Gundam, I dig out my snapped 1/100 SUMO and decide to make it entry of BAKUC.

slow project and just realise that submission date coming real soon...
here's the current progress.
what i had done in this 2 pic...
1) change the angle of shoulder join to more upward.
2) beef up the forearm so it look more muscular. white color is pla-plate.
3) change the back pack brown color part(wing?) angle to more upward.



30/10/07 update
i'm going to try the GAIA Gold in this dube. I soak the all the plated parts in to pure Kao's Bleach for few days and clean it off easily.
This kit got a major joint problem which i don't think it can straight for long time... maybe need to go a fix pose for the knee joint.
latest progress :
1) finish the mod for thigh, in order to remove the 1 ugly seam line, i take a longer path as cut the part-> bend a 0.3mm plaplate->joint them together... cost most of the time for this semi-OOB project..
2) detail up the inner forearm

got my PG Wing from some online model shop... collecting dust for year and never touch on it. decided to finish it in 2007 maybe a OOB before i got any better idea... I got an 1/60 Wing Zero sitting down there as well...

i think the no gundam look alike should apply to this Junkbot as well, otherwise we will see. Zeta head+ Freedom body+ justice arm+ blitz waist+ zaku left leg and dom right leg, armed with RX78 shield and astray katana!    I don't think that's the idea of this GB.

 This is not the first time and i don't think will be the last time our(modellers) precious kits was treat like a toys... don't they know model and toys are differents!? :  :

I think there's a small print in the entry forms that ORGANISOR SHALL PAY NO RESPONSIBILITY TO ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR DISPLAY KIT.... I think i saw it somewhere...
