I've been collecting kits just not building anything...
I stopped midway through a Mobeius Galactica so maybe I'll finish that first.

I used to love that GMC Cyclone truck that you are modding.  Love those weld beads around the windows!

Whatever happened to MVM and Mtomczek?  Are they still around????

Great progress Hunter.  Nice to see that you are still here.
Last time I was here was in March 2012 and I haven't built a model since then although I am getting the itch.  Just finished watching Space Battleship Yamato 2199 and now I want to build it.  Been looking through all my old modeling links and even though a lot have disappeared, FichtenFoo is still here!!!

Nice buildup of the T-55 Will.  No you gotta do some of your electrical magic on some Battlestar or Star Wars kits.

What about the areas of the frame that didn't get with primer?  I know areas at the joints that will not get painted...  Will you just move them to different positions and then respray with primer?

Very nice and clean build of the GP04 !

Did you use MG internals or the GP04 inner frame kit off of ebay?

Pics!  We need more pics!!!

I so wish for some of the other sihps from the live action movie!!!

I myself haven't bought a RG yet but they do look amazing for something at such a small scale.  Hopefully someone will reply to Inner Geek and then I can see some in progress pics from you.

WOW Hunter great work on this kitbash so far.  I can't wait to see some paint on this esp. the pilot.  I'm scared to paint some realistic looking faces...

After Shizuoka Show I think I'll wait for Bandai's Space Battleship Yamato 2199.

I thought the 2199 Yamato is the same as this version???

Anyway, Yamato (aka Star Blazers) was what started me into Anime and modeling.  I remember building a Bizmark and converting it into a space battleship when I was 10 or so...

I remember seeing the 1/350 kits in Tokyo when I visited last year and planning someway to get the thing home.  I wanted the PG 00 Raiser too but the boxes were too big.

$90.00 Shipped

I ordered 1 to try it out.

I just built my 2nd spray booth but I may also buy this one just so I can sand resin kits on the kitchen table  :twitch:  It looks nice and portable.

Great snow effect Hunter!
The dio tells a story too.  I want to know what happens in the next scene  :(

What is that paint scaper substance?
It looks like someting you put on the finished paint job that eats away the paint to make it look like chipping...
Great weathering btw!

I've always love splinter camo paint jobs Will and you've do a great one there.  Weathering looks just right and very realistic.  Not to overdone at all!

Darkmessiah, I've been trying to get this zenithal lighting technique down as I've actually tried it on my Zeta Evolve.  I guess it just takes practice to get it down as go as you do it.  Thanks for the great inprogress pics!

Postshading looks amazing especially the grey on the tracks.  What exact colors did you use for the grey?

Loving the Alclad metalics and the in progress pics Hunter.  Saved for future reference!  :D

Does cellulose thinners work the same was as nail polish remover with regards to the squadron white putty?  I think my tube is over 10+ years old and is dried out and crumbly...
