Model In-Progress / 1/100 Hyaku Shiki
« on: April 13, 2006, 02:13:27 AM »
Am not a fan of that crazy gun. But I think it would look good if some of the gold are retained. Not necessarily chrome shiny gold but just gold painted look.

Anyway, am sure it would end up a looker in your hands. :)

Wow it looks seriously good.

I love this picture.

Got me thinking that my dislike for the Hyaku may be cos of the gold and it might actually look superb in some non-gold scheme.

Looks forward to more!

bhop73: Am doing the upper bust.  :)

pu_rplecow: My old site was taken down at my request because I cannot admin the contents anymore. If you want that Zaku head article, you can check out starship modeler or NKG, for a italian version. Until I can get my site back up again. :P

Thanks guys!

This thing is 1/35 but HUGE! I can't imagine if I am to stand beside a real one.

Am definitely thinking of using figures to enhance the scale visually.

Thanks!

Sorry its been quite a while since the last update. Got abit burnt out. :(

Head is pretty much done. Internals are all there, at this current stage, its completely foam free.

I rebuilt the mouth pieces because I really didn't like wat I first did. This one better? :P

Thanks!

Thanks! I didn't set a scale. Just wanted to go with the flow. The whole thing should be about 15cm when completed. :)

Hi everyone, posting here an in-progress of another of my current work.

Was really inspired to sculpt when I saw this picture from X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse.

Good eyes. :) Yeah figured it could do with some gimmick given its size. G-sys spoilt the market!!

Which one is this? The black one that has 'For plastic only' at the side? If it is, you are really badly ripped off at $42.... Sorry to inform you, Tamiya side cutters are really sub-standard stuffs. Its not even rust-proof...

Higher quality (stainless steel) cutters for electronics are some of the best, and cheaper too.
