well if you want a smooth surface you can always try polishing it with tamiya compound but you might wanna "test" it first

hey guys im almost finnished with this kit. But i ran into a problem when puting the kit back together.   those rubber joint coverings are a pain in the rear end.   does anyone know where to get a good type of sleeving or something to replace the rubber?

btw this is patlabor with the reactive armor type(aka the one with the body armor)

ahh god! i washed those K-hands that fulcy sent me like 2 times with soap (im getting the feeling that soap isnt good enough after read above) and i still cant glue them together...  (by the way is tamiya extra thin cement good enough to glue it?)

how long do you put the pla plate in water for ? last time i did it, i waited 30 mins straight from the stove.

ps: how thick is your pla plates?

mtomczek : I merely dipped the plastic sheet in hot water for a few seconds to soften it and place on the desired part. The plastic should adhere to the surface without much hassle.

I just wondering how hot is the water because mine keeps snaping or needs alot of force to bend...

sooo nice man when ever i look and my ball ver ka i cry now...

umm noob here .   when you mask a area off (like put the tape over it)
is there some way to do that? because I do it then i air brush over it and it flows under the tape to places i dont want it to go. 

can some one please help me?
