it'd be really hard to explain the whole wire thing... but you do screw in the wires exactly like it looks. Wing 0 wiring is PITA, getting the backpack part on is the hardest. make sure you cut the wires long so then you can trim them right before you complete the kit.

This kit was given to me completed by my brother but I knew this was his favorite MG kit so I've decided to paint it then give it back to him. I Love the look of clear red over metallic finish but this time I've decided to try highlighting with alclad chrome over gloss black. It's not perfect but good enough :) Something I've finished in a hurry so there are lots of flaws. Overall I like the way it turned out. BTW I LOVE Future!

Something I've whipped up in about 2 days. Used alclad chrome, Tamiya gun metal and few other metalic colors to give some contrast but they all look the same in the end..bleh~ oh, and some dry brushing... I wanted to give the orange some pazzaz so i've done chrome with clear orange over it. I didnt have to do any seam fixing and etc. This was a fun weekend project

I was using iwata HP-B but decided to change over to HP-C Plus. I just got to use a little today and I love the fact that it holds so much more paint!!!! especially working with big pieces of PG. I am also thinking about getting a Sprint Jet but I keep thinking I need to get something with a tank......
While I was using the airbrush I tried to lower the pressure from the compressor and it seems like it works better. I always find that even when i let the Mr.Surfacer cure for weeks, when I use the acrylic paint with alcohol thinner it always strips off a layer of Mr.Surfacer blowing a layer away making a huge mess. Alcohol always tends to strip the primer. Am I the only one with this problem? does anyone have any tricks so this does not happen??

It maybe that you're spraying too close to the piece. Give it some distance and see what the difference is. Like FF said, you really have to play around with mixing ratio between paint and thinner. Or maybe you're not letting the primer dry enough. Mr Surfacer is laquer based but alcohol can strip it causing some shrinking/wrinkling effect. When AB spits, it's because of the condensation inside the hose. I sometimes get spitting even with a filter installed(I'm in seattle=rains ALOT). I always just take the hose out, grab one end and just spin it around to get the water out(yes it's ghetto, but it works) . That usually lasts about an hour for me before doing it again.....

Very nice and glossy finish and awesome job on the kit!!!! I painted my Qubeley to Ple II color. Although I love the glossy red on mine, I wish I knew about Pearl Ex before I painted it. Pearl Ex is very nice stuff. I worried that the pigment would be kinda coarse but they are VERY fine and mixes with any type of clear(FFA, Testor's Glasscote) If you're working with FFA then I'd thin it a little with a bit of windex though. You can save tons over retail if you buy from ebay. I just wish they sold a larger bottle of white pearl powders in single containers

very nice piece, definitely shows your hard work. I gotta agree with Foo that it would look nicer and look more of a one-piece if the Serpent had the same texture as the tank does.

Very very nice painting. I love the bronze color, what kind of paint is it? I would have had my eyeballs pop out of the socket or thrown them out the window while painting it. I envy people with such steady hands.....

oh my...this kit is very realistic. a real Gun Cannon wouldnt pose like that in a service bay unless of course, there was an intruder hehe. I'm digging all the details and the colors. Awesome work, one of a kind.

I really like the darker shades . However my only gripe on this is that the panel lines are too black. Gray would have been a better color for it.
