I loved this the moment I saw the initial artwork.
Needless to say when it was up for preorder I ordered it as soon as I could.
I ordered a single mech and also the set with the chomp troopers.
Will start to play with them once the mech is done, the troopers are a good size too with some nice details.
Anyways pics!

Work continues, I finished the legs, they are all pinned and I shaved off the outer detail and added some koto option parts for detail on the leg details both knee and ankle.
Next to the HG Acguy he is pretty big and considering the canopy still needs to go on it will end up a little larger than a MG kit

Not at the moment, we are having monumental rains down here is Brisbane and I don't think I will get any painting done anytime soon, I might try and paint up the troopers in the meantime though.

Started painting it today

Started on the weathering, still more to come to it, it's not nearly dirty enough

Sooooo I got off my butt and went back to this

Just needs a base and the light covers on and it's done, decided no decals on this one, will put plenty on the next one.
Will do a proper photo shoot when the base is done
Was a fun build
Wont start the second one till I finish another of my Industria Mechanika kits :)

Oh cool! So glad to see this finished Hemish, it really looks great! The weathering is spot on, love the rusty streaks and the chipping round the mouth

I do other things, too.

Base is done and Chompbot has been attached to it.
Just have one trooper to paint and attach and then it's finished and can go to a proper photo shoot
Please excuse the crappy phone pics

Very cool - I like the streaking too. The weathering around the mouth manages to be disturbing (like a zombie with a face full of gore) despite being rust and chipping - cool stuff. Maybe it's a combination of the rather primal teeth shape and the wear making them look ground down?

They look alright to me! The all-important eyes are sharp and the glass effect on the goggles is cool too.

I think the base could do with a little more though - maybe some more colour variation, or some bigger grit here and there, or oil spill from the chompbot? I think what you have would be great on one of the figures but because it's bigger it looks a wee bit flat.

Hope you don't mind the suggestion!

Cheers,

Will

Hemish,

great built of another wonderful IM kit. this is definately on my wish list. looks like a fun quick build, and the 'comic' look of the figures is super.

Chris.
