Here's the completed images of my Lighthouse Standoff diorama. It's been done for a while but I was waiting on fixing the light which I can't get to work. So I gave up for now and will post light images once I fix it and make them.

Such a prize winner!
Love the bucolic feel of it, and the vegetation is beautifully rendered.

I'm not sure what the exact phrase is offhand, but the whole thing looks like more than the sum of its parts. Fantastic diorama sci-fi diorama that would hold its own against any of those "real world" dioramas.

Synergy?  ;)

Looks great Mike.  I really like the lighthouse, the texture is great and knowing that you hand-crafted each of the panel makes it even better.  The diorama really conveys a story, one wonders what's hiding inside the lighthouse... :naughty:

I look at this work of yours Michael and just smile.   I also look at the detail and admire your intense attention to detail.    As Zerobxu says it's value is greater then the sum of parts because it captures an instant in time that we can only wonder of.   It is that wondering for me that denotes excellence.   Beautiful work.

When are you going to make just an all out MS battle dio? I think with all these huge projects you cover its getting close to that time! This dio is one of the best I have ever seen anywhere. I could swear those were real doors and boats and stones. Amazing.

Thanks guys!

Dr Dazzle: Never... no room nor desire. I find it rare to see one of those turn out good let alone great and don't see me doing much better. Most are somewhat akward. I prefer my battles to be on a smaller scale.
