Well, I LOVE the original animation which is why I DO NOT WANT this failure of proportions. If it doesn't look like this then I'm just not buying it.

So don't buy it, I don't care.

The Gundam was pretty well animated in the movies - picking out a defective still-frame from the TV show is meaningless.

Hey, animation is tough. Especially in 1970's japan. I think the designs are solid.

First off it's a joke so chill man... I could honestly care less about the proportions since I don't need another 78. Second the movies aren't totally the original animation. There's a lot more high-quality original gundam frames where that come from.

The design is definitely decent and I like the RX-78, (more of a Ver. Ka. fan myself) but that animation, even by that eras standards was... well, "for the lulz" for sure.

Well, yeah, bad animation is bad animation, regardless of "era"...

Second the movies aren't totally the original animation.

They're original enough.  If you want to see the original Gundam, but with good animation, you watch the movies.

If this doesn't make you want a Gundam v2.0, then nothing will!  :D

Except maybe this...

"lulz" indeed...  :P

Wow, Zero you got Stealth Rick-Rolled...

Off topic:
Didja hear they Rick Rolled the NY Mets?

But this talk of original animation... have you seen the clips from the PS2 games like Encounters in Space? It has that retro look, but still better animation, and that is what the 2.0 reminds me of. And there is one thing about the Gundam trilogy that I just am saddened by... poor Zakrello...

As for a master grade I want...
Perhaps a MA, not 1:100 scale, but a MG Dendro? or a MG Elmeth? I'm sure they could pull something large off if they can pull off the tiny F-91.

A MG Dra-C would be great. They could just use the majority of the Zaku II 2.0 frame and some armor and then design the new parts.

But the Dra-C was based of the F-2 frame, so all you have to do is buy a F-2 and mod it. XD Though, not everyone is into that sort of thing. Perhaps there is a conversion kit available on the web?

Dra-C Conversion Did some looking and found one, first thing on google, just search for Dra-C Conversion.

But on the note of 0083, aside from the Gerbera.... we hae a F-2, GM Kai (2), GP-01, GP-01FB, GP-03, GP-02A... how about A GP-04? That one is personally my favorite of the four, or even a HGUC of the Gundam GP-00 Blossom.

I am aware of the conversions but why not have an official kit without the need for a conversion? A lot of conversion kits are often highly priced and limited in their availablity - a MG kit would be more readily available and it would be good to have something a little different than the standard 'popular' suits that are currently getting a 2.0 release.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that an MG Nobel Gundam Ver. Ka would sell like hotcakes in Japan? Slender, feminine Gundam in a sailor fuku and high heels? Sounds like a winning formula. :P

Well, look at what we got...

MS-06J, MS-06S(CA), MS-06R-1(BTs), MS-14S(CA), MS-14A....

Not to mention the whole Zeta 2.0 for the movies.

And now the RX-78-2, even though it's uninteresting, bandai sort of has a tradition, every new series has to have a RX-78-2...

Looking through the MG list though, here are some 2.0 I would like to see.

First off, I'm down for the Guntank... so much possibility...

Zaku I would be a cheap kit for them to make, and could have many new weapons, like the colony gasser.
But, I think zaku are burnt out at the moment.

GP-01/GP-02A 2.0?
The GP-02 needs a lot of love, and I think a 2.0 would be great.

GM 2.0, just because of the cost, it would be very cheap to make on the RX-78 frame

Dom/Rick Dom 2.0

Gouf 2.0

Or, how about a ZZ Gundam 2.0?

Who knows...

But I doubt they will make anything else we want anytime soon, I'm happy with my Zaku F Type 2.0, and plan on getting the MS-14A gelgoog soon.

I would like MGs of the entire Gundam Sentinel series remade into 2.0, or cast out (Hummingbird, Mk V, etc) and the proportions of S gundam's shoulders and feet.

A ver 2.0 of MG Sazabi and Nu Gundam would be nice as well.

Bandai Clause here-

Have you not seen this gift I have offered you??

http://dalong.net/review/etc/mf01/p/mf01_01.jpg
Check it out on dalong.net Go to the ETC page and scroll down to the bottom.

And if you can wait 'til Christmas, and a little beyond, I have these for you:

Even though you didn't ask for it, I'll give you this, too, someday:

These aren't labeled Master Grade, but neither are Bandai's Real Robot Revolution kits, or VOTOMS Scopedog kits (I have one of each), but that doesn't mean they aren't up to MG standards. Both the Scopedog and Layzner I have are very nice kits.

And if you don't want to build, there are these:
