Oh man these are amazing...there's an actual museum for MaK?

Did this Fireball detach its gunarm?  http://mak-osaka.eek.jp/mak/es/es04b.jpg
The Kauz is so nice, is there a way of getting one now?

Model In-Progress / 1/144 Barzam Semi- Refined
« on: November 21, 2005, 07:40:47 AM »
The new chest looks really good.  I'm anxious to see the Barzam's head.  I think the B-club version was quite ugly...is this going to be based on the zeta design or the sentinel?

Looks really good qc, it's apparent that a lot work is put into this.

The head is most interesting.  Like tet said, I also sense some sort of GM influence.  On some pics I find it a bit big...well not exactly big but large in proportion to the rest of the body.

Maybe the gouf flat head has biased my observation.

Model In-Progress / Aile Strike Gundam Progress Log
« on: November 16, 2005, 02:10:22 PM »
Hey this is detailed documentation.  I'm sure someone looking into a build in-prog will find this extremely useful.

But I don't agree with some of this totally

Getting the right mood

It is important to first get the intended feel of the kit which we are going to do. Every kit have its own feel. Take for example: the Gouf needs to be sturdy, battle hardened, a little worn and totally cool. The Gundam Mk-II needs to be light and agile. So first thing is to think: how do I want to make people feel when they see this finished kit.

I would word it as such:

The Z-Gundam needs to be light and agile.

or

The Gundam Mk-II needs to be even more so then the Gouf, with a gorilla face.

Wow!  A different approach to tackle the Sazabi problem.  I like it alot.  The added details is really nice, as well as the dynamic pose.  I am really liking that front chest mod, with the details shown.

Good work!

That's very funny.

Wasn't there another dio with the SD zeon marine units relaxing on a beach or something?  I remember seeing it from some model competition awhile back.

Thanks. Nope can't... since I'm hosting and judging and all, it would be inappropriate for me to enter.

Good to know that the likes of me do indeed have a chance!  Haha!

Please put me in for this one.  I have such a big SD collection from the lesser-know, old-school, discontinued Ganso and Honke series.  It's time to put them squarely on the map of SD realm.

Oh, I think I should be taken off the GB1, looks like I won't have time to finish it...

I like the idea.  The forearm somehow reminded me of asshima.  Let's hope that's a good thing...

Good to see you back on working on kits, but smooching is good too

Awesome scratching!

I'm blown away...It's funny how the convo sets are so expensive but you manage to make it even better on your own.  :)

Major Blah are you going to enter?
I'd like to see if HeavyArmour studio will have any of his models on display.

I might go just to see the displays.  Maybe we can meet there...

Hey MGmodeler and Rex, are you guys going to the contest this Saturday?  I usually make a point of not venturing to Pacific during weekends (too crowded, stupid chinese-mom drivers LOL), but I think I might make it an exception for this Saturday.

If you are heading there we can arrange to meetup.  I don't think I have anything to enter for the contest though, school has been quite busy lately... :?

I'd highly recommend using DC source (batteries and batteries only) if you want to use this for wet sanding of anysort...unless you switch from water to some other oil based lubricants

Hey, don't see this everyday.  My Kondo book has a series with this too.  I think most of the ones I've seen are red, but I think the zeon green is a very good choice as well!

Good idea!  Seems like from your description it's still pretty weak.  I've always assumed the toothbrush would be too powerful and chew all the plastic.
