What if I were to skip painting altogether?
Say I was building a Master Grade kit and wanted to try this in lieu of painting:
1. Sand all the parts and spray a clear coat of enamel over them.
2. Do the panel lines using a watered down acrylic.
I figure if I spray an enamel clear coat over the entire model, it will induce the capillary action when I use an acrylic wash for the panel lines.
If I sand and polish the parts well enough initially, who will know the difference?
Just something I've been contemplating. Please give me your thoughts.
